Blue Moo Ice Cream - West Jordan — Restaurant in West Jordan

My fiancé and I saw an ad for this morning so we decided to give it a try since we love icecream. OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS THE PLACE IS SO CUTE AND THE ICE CREAM IS SO YUMMY! It was a good sign already to see that some of the flavors were sold out. I had the banana pudding it was so delicious, and my fiancé got the cookies and cream cheese cake and that was also very good. I am excited to come back and try them all. It is so dangerous to live close by to an ICE CREAM DRIVE THROUGH! Perfect for the introverted. It was great to be greeted by a blue spotted cow. I hope to see this place grow, I want to say it’s a hidden gem but it shouldn’t be, everyone needs to come check them out! Apparently Blue Bell is a big deal in Texas, so when someone says good ice cream is in Utah I go. Later I found out from a friend from Texas that Blue Bell is just grocery store ice cream.

Blue Moo looks to have brought it to Utah -- which from the Texas transplants it's a good thing. However, I thought it was just OK.

We did the sampler to get more flavors (Dr. Pepper Float for my DP junkie of a wife, Banana Pudding, Chocolate PB Overload, and Pecan Pralines N' Cream). Pecan was the best by far, but still not memorable.

Loved the people at Blue Moo -- so helpful and friendly and passionate. I'll likely go back because I was told later that there are other flavors I need to try, but I lean heavily towards Handel's for my weekend...

As a missionary from Georgia, I was bracing myself for the ultimate sacrifice: no Blue Bell Ice Cream. But then—BAM!—I walk into The Blue Moo and there it is, in all its creamy, dreamy glory. One bite and suddenly angels were singing, the Wasatch mountains looked prettier, and I may or may not have shed a tear of joy.

And the service? Out. Of. This. World. The folks here don’t just hand you ice cream—they deliver happiness in a cup (or cone). Smiles, kindness, and the kind of Southern-style hospitality I thought I left behind.
