The Black Sheep Bar & Grill — Restaurant in West Jordan

I absolutely LOVE this place! First off, I love the name of this place, because I'm the "black sheep" of my family. Secondly, this is the first place I went when I met my birth cousin that I had found out about living here in UT. SO we go here as like our "tradition/our little place." The service is excellent! Staff is very friendly and informative. My cousin and I LOVE their Chicken Quesadilla. It's so amazingly delicious. It's full of flavor and STUFFED with all the yummy ingredients. It's very filling and we always have extra to take home to snack on for later on. Their drinks are REALLY, REALLY GOOD. Prices are decent. I got a shot of Patron (dressed) and then a LONG ISLAND ICE TEA after my shot. It was made perfectly. My cousin is a beer 🍺 drinker. She ordered the BIG MUG of Bud Light. Two of them. Our bill was around $30. Which was a good price for everything we ordered. Our server was very friendly and nice. She gave us EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! They have a good variety of different yummy mixed drinks! They also have a pool table and T.V.'s to watch different sports games that you want to watch. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I came here on a date for the first time a couple of months ago. It was mostly empty and the waitress was incredibly friendly. Since we’d never been, we asked what was popular. She recommended the prime rib sandwich (which I got) and my guy got a Mexican dish. Both were super good and the drinks we got were also amazing! We were anxious to go back. About a month later, we decided to stop by after a movie and have dinner. It was a bit busier, but not packed or full. We sat down and the waitress brought us water. While we were looking over the menu, I decided to take some pictures of the fun beer lights and old stools they have there (I am taking an advanced photography class and I was trying to get used to shooting lights in the dark or low light). My camera is small and non-obtrusive- not large like the older Canon models. I wasn’t photographing people, but the bartender snapped at me and asked what I was doing. I explained to her it was just for a class and I was taking test shots. She didn’t like it and made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. The food was good, the waitress Hailey was awesome But Tom the bartender was a Karen. We had 4 people in our party of 6 that forgot a mask. They didn't have extra masks to hand out. We sat right by the bathroom. 1 person in our group of 6 went to the bathroom. Tom kept harassing us and even came across the room to yell at us when the 1 person walked 2 steps to the bathroom. We saw several people walking around to go outside to smoke without masks. We spent over $300 We will never go back because of Tom His harassment was uncalled for. This was our 1st and last tine here. If Tom was SOOO concerned about masks, they should provide masks for their patrons. We had family in from out of state so embarrassed by Tom's behavior was uncalled for. 4 members of our party was out of state & 3 were having altitude sickness so that is why the masks were forgotten.
