I do not recommend this specific location at all! This experience has made me completely distrust Thirst’s reliability and quality. I waited all day on my birthday to get maple beignets in the evening, so I was extremely disappointed that the employees said it was too late for beignets and I needed to come earlier. I had come in the evening many times and they were still open for over an hour. I left so disappointed and wishing I had canceled the soda I went home with. I was really looking forward to the beignets though and tried to place an order at the Draper location. I was able to pick up fresh and hot maple dipped beignets from the extremely professional Draper location. At 10:22pm! They really saved the day and I am so grateful for the Draper location. It’s clear to me that the West Jordan (this) location is just poorly run with undisciplined staff. The boy and girl working there were far more occupied with their own conversation to sell me beignets. Literally they just did not feel like it. This was in the evening around 9:30-10 on August 29. Also, in the drive thru, a group of teenage boys came over and tapped on my window trying to get my attention …which I ignored. Read moreMy nursing co workers and I got some food after our long shift at the hospital. Someone suggested to try Thirst. When I got there the kid seemed lost & dazed! When I asked questions he would pause for long periods of time. He had trouble with understanding my order because I asked to order 2 extra cups of nacho cheese. Then I get to the second window, waited for such a long time and a different guy acted similar to the first one. I pull out of the away so they could serve the next folks, I check out bags of food and there is no extra nacho sauces, the nacho sauces in the bag are freezing cold, one pretzel bites cup is missing and the other pretzel bites are stale as can be and cold as well! The bagel dog was cold and so ridiculously chewy! We went back to get the missing items- I mentioned the quality of the food and the missing items we needed and the poor boys were so confused and slow! I remained pleasant and tried to be patient but really this was such an unpleasant and disappointing experience!! This food was not even edible! Worse than hospital cafeteria food! Read moreHere I am trapped in the drive up line at 2:28 p.m. I am at the 2nd window at least, but havent had an interaction at this window yet. However, ive seen an employee wandering in the back looking at his hands, which im sure are holding his phone. I preordered for a 2:00 pickup and arrived at the location at 2:03 per my google map. Finally, at 2:32 I was given my 5 pack of pretzels, no napkins, and employee went to get my drink from the fridge. I was not happy and asked if my drink had been sitting there for 25 minutes (actually 34 minutes). Employee literally shrugged. A second employee asked if I'd live them to make a new one. I said, "tbh, yes, but i do not have time to wait. Is this your normal wait time now, cuz it's really bad?" The employee just shrugged again. As I put my car in gear, she said "have a bad day". Dude. I worked a drive up window for nearly a decade at their age. I get it!! I rarely complain in situations like these and try to be over the top kind to people doing this job. #1 = kids #2 = literally been there done that No worries. I won't be back. ✌️
