Vegan Bowl Restaurant — Restaurant in West Jordan

There were 7 of us. The place looks clean from what we could see. The service people were friendly and helpful on out 1st time there. Also quite a few tables so enough room for a bigger bunch like ours. The food was brought out quite quickly. The portions were on the larger size. We ordered pho (however you spell it) those who ordered it said it was good. The rest of us ordered the vegetable ramen. It's flavor was just OK but there were very little vegetables compared to the ramen.....for the $10.00 price we were gipped- there was more veggies in the pho then in these bowls---hmm mm for a vegan restaurant I was surprised. We also ordered the shrimp side....there were maybe 6-8 pieces of shrimp, came out quickly, small pieces, $12 price was fairly high for size, taste was ok. Then we ordered a few tapioca smoothies....hardly any flavor and a grandchild said it looked like it was moldy on the bottom from not being blended properly. But the real kicker was the flies that were flying around the table area. There were at least 6 flies in there that would not go away, flying all over our food, our heads, even our feet. I brought this to the attention of one of the workers there and he just laughed. That was the last straw......we will NEVER return to this restaurant. Why such a big deal.....Our daughter got a parasite from flies that landed on her food and ended up very sick for 2 years. She will have this parasite in her body for the rest of her life, so we are very weary when we see flies around food and in food establishments. But for the guy to laugh when I mentioned that they had some flies that needed to be killed, well that was all we needed to nail the coffin door shut on this place. All the beautiful food, the quickest of service. The helpful service members in making our choices. The good or not so good tasting of food. Anything right next to being served food on a gold platter would not help their review because of the flies. Flies carry disease. This needs to be addressed. Sorry guys but I give a...

We come to Vegan Bowl almost weekly for over five years because we love the food so much. That is despite having to drive quite a way, it's always worth it.

Today we did have a slightly odd experience. While the guy running the dining today was nice, we got kind of a hard time when asking for a to-go box. My husband can't eat everything in one sitting and routinely asks for a box for the majority of his meal. The guy tried to push a small box, which wouldn't work. He then made a seemingly big deal about finding us a larger box.

Considering that we just saw a huge to-go order picked up minutes ago in a larger box, whichi is routine, it's odd that he made it seem like a small miracle that he found a box apt for our needs.

As a normal customer,. I would ask that you don't gaslight us please. Making us feel as if you might not have a larger containers to fit our need mildly insulting and a ding to your customer service reputation.

This is probably the only time I've ever been truly disappointed in Vegan Bowl so I will always recommend it. I hope perhaps this was just a fluke but I felt compelled to bring it to...

I am very unhappy with this restaurant. I explained before I ordered that I have a gluten allergy. I asked questions about the menu. When I ordered a vegie spring roll I again emphasized I am gluten free and the worker said I should have the fish sauce because he knew it was gluten free. When I received my order, I asked again what was in my fish sauce. He assured me it was GF. I was dipping my roll into the sauce when my daughter noticed it looked just like her peanut sauce which had soy sauce as an ingredient. I asked the worker and he confirmed they had made a mistake and given me peanut sauce which is not GF. I told him he just made me sick. I cannot have gluten. He said sorry. I explained to him that this was a health issue and now I have gluten in my body and will be sick. He must have been embarrassed because he started mopping and ignored me. AND the spring roll was mostly filled with lettuce, very little else. It did not taste good. My daughter also purchased a bubble tea and said it did not taste good either. I definitely would not recommend...
