Never again! Ordered four subs. I ordered an Italian which is Italian meats, provolone, lettuce tomato, oregano basil, mayo and oil& vinegar. I ordered w/ NO sauces of any kind! Only meats and veggies. Got home and see pics for what I had for my #9 Italian. Bacon? Really?? See lots of mayo/mustard in the pics? Was upset because there were 4 people making food, order taker confirmed the no sauce with one of them as I stood there, the receipt showed it correctly, unfortunately I couldn’t watch them make it as I was paying the bill. I did as I always do, ask the guy who was wrapping them and bagging yet AGAIN, to make sure they did NOT put any sauce on that sub. He told me NO THEY DID NOT. Well he didn’t even know, did he?? THAT is why I’m upset, three different times to get it right, and I even check AGAIN at the end, and you see what I got. My wife called them understandably upset, the young ladies response first thing was”well u don’t have to be rude” she WAS upset as I was. You could probably hear it in her voice. But rude she was not. I and my grandkids were present, she wouldn’t be rude in front of them. Not a big loss for JJ’s as I have gone there I think twice before. With 6 people in the front line, and me double and triple checking with them about the no sauce. I just expected the correct sandwich. I’m not even sure this was an Italian!!! Read more01/29/25- Evening. A promotional reward was added to my account, so after a long day I decided to stop by to use it. I was greeted with a big smile from Rachel. I was happy to chat with her. I asked what subs were part of the promotion. Rachel didn’t mind my questions and helped me out. When I asked for extra Jimmy peppers 🌶️ that’s when I Heidi took over. Heidi had started on my sub once my order was placed. You know they’re super fast so next thing I know she asked if she had put enough peppers. Heidi put a huge smile on my face when she put more than the usual ten peppers the others add. Tonight these two ladies turned a sad night into a good evening with my Jimmy sub. They both have a good attitude and work great together. I hope Rachel and Heidi get recognized.
01/15/25- Morning. Austin, Gwen and Alex seem to be the AM crew when I visit early morning. Austin is at the front greeting and taking sub orders. He is always patient and lets me take my time picking out a sub. Gwen is on standby waiting for the order to go through to start the sub. When I asked Gwen for extra Jimmy peppers she made sure I had enough. She did not seem bothered I asked late. Alex handles the stocking and prep in the back but it doesn’t stop him from greeting customers and making us feel welcomed. All three of them work great as a team. It takes a team to make a sub. It tuned out my food's delivered to a wrong address. They wanted me to pick up the food at the wrong place, regardless if it's not my fault. Food's bloody cold.
