Biscuits Café — Restaurant in West Linn

We have eaten at this location at least 15 times. Usually excellent service and food. However, we visited this morning for breakfast and with the new """"""""COVID"""""""" restrictions in place it was an entirely different experience. We were seated after a decent wait for a table, which is to be expected. But when we sat down our silverware was dirty and the table was so sticky from the spray they use the menus had to be peeled off with force when we ordered... After being seated it took 10-15 mins to even get wait staff over to our table to put in a coffee order.. It seemed like the limited wait staff was focusing 95% of their attention on the constant stream of "takeout" orders instead of the groups that were dining in. Over hearing the confusion in the kitchen and wait staff it sounded like a circus.... After we ordered they forgot some things, we had to leave our table to grab a waitress to get what we ordered after waiting and waiting. Then, our coffees werent refilled, our waters werent refilled, we were never checked on or asked how the food was. We never received the check and had to even ask for the check after sitting with empty plates and cups for 15 mins. Ridiculous and extremely disappointing! Customer service was seriously lacking. Focus on the "dine-in" customers! Im not sure if we will be back due to how bad this visit was. I will be calling to speak with a Manager and...

My sister and I visited early on a Sunday morning. They seemed to be short staffed and the staff that was working was incredible but overwhelmed. I live locally this was my first visit AND will be my last. Sausage, hash browns and scrambled eggs, you wouldn't think it would be bad but in this case, you would be wrong. The sausage was woefully undercooked and oozed grease. The eggs were barely cooked and although there was a healthy serving, the hash browns had spices that were alright but overwhelming. My co-diner ordered Biscuits and gravy...nothing complicated but the sausage gravy tasted like pasty flour and the scrambled eggs were not fully cooked, just like mine. For somewhere that's touted as good, I will not ever cross their threshold again. Even to get a coffee refill was an arduous task, the coffee cup was never refilled. I ordered chicken fried steak eggs over medium hash browns and pancakes.the chicken fried steak and gravy itself was really good and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I ordered the hash browns crispy and they came as I expected and tasted great. In my opinion the pancakes are average. I don't know what syrup they used but it sure tasted funny. It was almost like a burnt marshmallow flavor. Might be because I'm used to real maple syrup. The food arrived at my table very fast. After that I didn't see the waitress until she brought the check. It wasn't even very busy but I had to wait in order to get a little more syrup for the pancakes. They have a rewards program here that I thought I was going to get to sign up for. It didn't happen.
