The level of incompetence here is insane. I tried to pick up a door dash order I was assigned to. Orders come in all the time without a name or numbers and I’ve never had a problem thus far with that issue in the year I’ve been dashing. Normally it’s really easy to pick up orders here. I pulled up the app and showed it to the two larger, older black females working the order and described exactly what was ordered. They said they will not release the food to me since I don’t have a name. I look up at the screen and it’s the only order waiting I’m like obviously Owen. They gasped and said accused me of trying to steal this order? How can I dupe an interactive door dash app? If could do that do you think I be wasting my time trying to steal one French dip sandwich at Arby’s? I’m a single mom just trying to make extra grocery money. I was dressed nice and have a new car but for some reason was treated like I’m a homeless bum. I’m on keto and don’t eat fast food. In their dreams I want that sandwich. I now had to sit on the phone with door dash for 20 mins and make less money that I could have that evening thanks to Arby’s employees incompetence. I was also told to leave the store no loitering allowed while on hold. Door dash then calls the store pleading with them to release the order to me and they accused door dash of being someone I know calling. Read morecame there at 940pm placed order online since me n my 12 year old son were out shopping. Got food at 950pm just sat down to eat n a lady comes up to me n says our lobby is closed didnt even get thru our meals it says online yous are open til 11pm even when googaling your lobby hours online it says store n drive thru are both open til 11pm. So me and my son had to pack up our food and leave mean while if there lobby was closed why where there other people driving n parking n another person inside after we left amd they werent told lobby was closed or doors locked. I find it rude if lobby closed you lock doors n domt let new customers inside but if its just me n a kid why cant you let us finish our food n then leave. I also work in fast food at a diff resturaunt that sells diff food and this is not how we treat our customers we dont kick our customers out in middle of them eating. If your lobby was closed why not tell us when we came in to place our order u wait til we get our food sit down take 3 bites n then make us leave. Is that so yall can close your store early when hrs clearly say til 11pm. Meaning you have to stay open til 11pm then lock doors n clean up even if it takes a hr to get out after closing. So spent $40 had took 3 bites n had to leave then food was cold by time we got home....
