So this place came back to life after dealing with fire damage from almost a year ago. Sal's pizza was never that great before the fire. The pies were often misshapen with Inconsistent bakes. After the major overhaul, l was hoping Sal's pizza quality would also received a makeover. However, the pizza is still mediocre: thick crust that tastes like corrugate. The bake is still inconsistent. There are sides that come out burnt while other sides are just underbaked. Perhaps the oven needs to be cleaned? To make matters worse, the prices on all the food went up significantly. I remember when pizza pies a few years back were around $13. Now they are over $17. Made me feel bad after he stormed out until I realized that tips are OPTIONAL. I’ve been a costumer since I was born. I remember as a kid I even made pizza there for a school field trip.
