I recently had the pleasure of dining at Avocado Grill in West Palm Beach, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the caring attitude and professionalism of the General Manager, Nicole, shone through.

Nicole's attention to detail and warm demeanor set the tone for a delightful evening. She made sure that every guest was well taken care of and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Her dedication to customer satisfaction was truly commendable.

Furthermore, the waitstaff, particularly Dale, exemplified the same thoughtfulness and professionalism as Nicole. With five years of experience under his belt, Dale was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely interested in making our dining experience top-notch. His friendly demeanor and efficient service added an extra touch of excellence to our evening.

One of the highlights of Avocado Grill is its fantastic location. Situated close to the water, the restaurant offers beautiful views that complement the dining experience perfectly. Whether you choose to sit indoors or on the outdoor patio, you'll be treated to a scenic backdrop that enhances the ambiance.

Now, let's talk about the food. Avocado Grill boasts a menu that celebrates the versatility and deliciousness of avocados. From appetizers to entrees, the dishes are creative, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Whether you're a vegetarian, a seafood lover, or a meat enthusiast, you'll find something to satisfy your palate. The use of locally sourced ingredients adds an extra element of quality and sustainability to the dining experience.

To complement the fantastic food, Avocado Grill also offers an impressive selection of liquors. Their bar menu features a wide range of cocktails, wines, and craft beers that pair perfectly with the flavors of the dishes. Whether you're in the mood for a classic cocktail or want to explore something new, the skilled bartenders are ready to create a drink that suits your taste.

In conclusion, Avocado Grill in West Palm Beach, Florida, is a must-visit for anyone looking for a dining experience that combines caring service, professionalism, beautiful views, and delicious food. With Nicole at the helm, ensuring a top-notch experience, and the dedicated staff like Dale, you can expect nothing less than excellence. So, make a reservation, sit back, and prepare to be amazed by the culinary delights that await you at...

Really disappointed in our experience here. Deceptive practices, bad service, not great food. Without getting into a novel, here are a few of the highlights of our dinner here. Before our whole party sat down, they were asking for our drink order. We said we needed a few minutes to look over the one drink menu they gave us for 12 guests. Not even 60 seconds later, they were back asking for our drink order, then again 2 minutes later. This continued throughout the whole night, we felt very rushed. Second highlight - the waitress asked if we wanted water all around to start, we said yes. She said she would bring three bottles for the table. We asked, does the water cost money or is it free tap water? She said, it's tap water and doesn't cost. We said ok, please bring free water. A few minutes later, four bottles of water were brought out and placed on the table. We again asked, do these cost money? To which the waitress then replied yes they cost. We said, please take these away, we want the free water. She rolled her eyes and they took the bottles away. I thought this could be a miscommunication, until they charged us for 2 bottles of water at $7 each on the receipt and tried to hide them in the middle of our entrees. When we asked for them to be taken off, the waiter (we had a weird waiter/waitress combo, another issue but whatever) spent 10 minutes trying to tell us why they couldn't be taken off and offered a gift card instead. Obviously we wouldn't be coming back (they knew we were from out of town) so that wouldn't work. I asked for a refund on the credit card (he said no), I asked for cash (he said no), eventually he refunded our entire dinner of $600 to take $14 off of water, and then recharged our credit card. The food was mediocre. It wasn't exceptionally delicious, and the portions were a joke. One lamb slider for like $18. Wouldn't recommend and...

Ambiance & Decor: 4 stars… Inside is clean, stylish, and honestly where you want to be. Outdoor patio? Feels like the restaurant forgot to check in on it. Service: 4 stars… Friendly, attentive, didn’t miss a beat. Food (apps & mains): 5 stars… Some big wins, one surprise flop, but overall a strong lineup. Dessert: Didn’t get to it. Too full of calamari and fries.

Would definitely come back. Already planning my order for next time. Not flawless, but absolutely worth the visit.

Now for the real talk:

The indoor space is great, well-designed, and actually comfortable. There’s a bar that sets the tone the moment you walk in. Outside seating exists… but let’s just say it’s not as clean as inside and you’ll want to be indoors where they clearly spent the design budget.

Fried calamari? Knockout. Perfectly crisp, full of flavor, and borderline addictive. Easily one of the best things we had.

The grilled mahi tacos were another win… fresh, well-seasoned, and light without being boring.

But the sleeper star? The beef short rib with poached eggs. Rich, savory, perfectly cooked. It had no business being that good but here we are.

Now… let’s talk about the guacamole. Somehow the one letdown of the meal. Soggy, a little sad, and not what you’d expect from a place doing everything else so well and with “avocado” in their name. Honestly shocked! 😳🥑

Didn’t get to try the shishito peppers, but I already regret it and they’re first on the list for next time.

The truffle fries? Order them! That’s it. Don’t ask questions. Just get them.

Service was great… friendly, quick, and knew the menu. Felt like they actually cared, which always makes a difference.

Would I come back? Without a doubt. Just skipping the guac and doubling down on the fries and short rib next time. This one’s a solid spot and definitely earned a...

No surprise Avocado Grill is one of the most reviewed places in West Palm Beach area. Their menu has something to offer for probably anyone with any possible taste. Unlike places that serve sushi aside with burritos, they took a pinnacle plate off every cuisine they've included on the menu, and made it well. Lets take a closer look here, I got Summer Vegetable Truffle Risotto, and it was absolutely fantastic. It was served with some extra parmesan on top, that kept melting while I was going thru, and smelled so good. My girlfriend went with Poke, only they don't serve it in a bowl (as it usually is), instead everything has been formed in a column on a plate, which is another great piece of attention to detail. And yes, it was delicious, she said. We also shared Truffle Fries, and I want someone from management hear me out here. It was served with regular ketchup on a side, while after I asked the lady for some homemade sauce or dressing, she got me one (pink colored) and IT PAIRED AWESOME! So now tell me, would you mix 25 yo Single Malt Scotch with Coke, or maybe its time to serve something extraordinary to such mouthwatering fries as well?! :) As to the drinks, of course Avocado Margarita is a must; no questions asked. They offer a number of red/white/sparkling wines, as it has to be in a small plates place, and respectively, there are not so many beers to choose from (you wanna beer - go to the bar). Service was fine, nothing remarkable and nothing to complain at the same time. Avocado Grill is located in downtown West Palm Beach, next to the park and next to the channel. Pricing is a little above average, but considering the approach to the menu, quality of the food and location, its fairly normal. I enjoyed the place and I would definitely recommend it to any of my friends coming to the town.
