Last night I was out with friends celebrating my birthday and we were recommended by a few people to visit this spot. What a bad decision that was. My group of friends were at the bar ordering drinks, when my one friend ordered a drink and turned around for 1 second to ask her husband something and the bartender proceeded to throw an ice cube at her instead of just asking someone to get her attention. As someone who has worked in the industry this is completely unacceptable. My friend proceeded to leave no tip as an ice cube was launched at her, which would at that point because that’s disrespectful and she’s obviously a low life. We stepped away from the bar and went to hangout by an open table that other people were also standing at which I grabbed my chair from the bar and moved it to that table. This is where it gets better her little friend not the tough girl who threw the ice came up to us telling us the table was reserved and snatched all the chairs from us and put them in the back when there was in fact no reservation and no more than 15 people in there including my group of 7 friends. When we asked what her problem was she said “oh make sure you guys tip next time” and my words back to her were “well make sure your bartenders don’t throw ice at people and they’ll get tipped.” My friend who got the ice thrown at her and I asked security to speak with the manager. We stepped outside to speak to him, and what a joke that was! It makes sense why the staff is the way that they are. CJ as he said his name was didn’t care what we had to say and seemed okay with his bartenders throwing ice at people. We finished our drinks and as we were walking out he then tried to offer us a round of shots which we denied. So please save your time and visit other places in this area as there are much better options. Oh and the bartender was the dread headed girl, so avoid her...
Read moreI don’t recommend this place at all. I tried to come here with some friends in the afternoon one day after our grad school classes were done. We’re all ages 22-28; there was a small sign near the front door that said 23+ but when we walked in we were immediately seated and ready to be served. None of the workers mentioned anything, so we thought maybe the 23+ rule was for nighttime. One of our friends stepped into the bathroom and our server came over to take our order. Mind you, this lady could barely form a coherent sentence. I’m not sure if the bleach dye soaked into her brain or if she was actually strung out on coke/other drugs, but I digress. She began checking IDs, and when she got to the friend that was 22 she warbled, “wait….. so….. how old are you?” and stared at it all confused for a good 2 minutes. My friend said she was about to turn 23, and the waitress instantly became rude and started barking about the tiny sign on the front door and how we all had to leave. However, once my other friend returned from the bathroom, the server realized that she knew her and her whole attitude changed. She was like “oh well…. Maybe… let me see what I can do.” She then went over to the manager and literally started rubbing and touching him in front of us, asking if we could stay. It was so unbelievably uncomfortable, at this point we were happy to leave. There was not a single other customer inside, either. That’s how you miss out on good money and tips! Super unprofessional and uncomfortable experience overall. Will probably never return here or recommend it to anyone. Clearly mediocre anyways, since no one else in town was there. There are plenty of fun, welcoming establishments in downtown West Palm that are much more deserving of your...
Read moreThis bar looked like a great one to attend. Coming to the form of customer service I would most definitely rate it as a 0. Security was the worst part. While being out side and seeing the amount of guests attending I decided to take a photo of the place as a promo. To which I definitely regret. The door security indicated that I couldn't take a photo. I told him being outside on the side walk as a civilian I do of course have the right to. I then took a shot of the building for a better image to where my phone was knocked out of my hand by security at the front door. Cracking the screen and damaging the phone but in all still workable. I asked security what his name was to inform the owner he broke my phone and see what we could work out as in a repair or replacement, in which I got no reply. I took another photo this time where he was in the picture more than just the whole building to be able to let the owner know. This time I was pushed down to the ground twisting my ankle and hitting my head on a solid object in front of the bar. At that moment I requested we have the police involved to where he kept quiet and not responding. Knowing that the police were patrolling the area close by I went to get them. Telling them of the incident that occurred and not having any bruises or bleeding from a real fight. I asked of what they would do in this situation and told stay away from the place and write a bad review about it. So figured if they were right this should definitely help for that security person to get fired and less people...
