Duffy's Sports Grill — Restaurant in West Palm Beach

UPDATE/2/2024 from 5 years ago ; the most disrespectful, disappointing experience we have had in such a long time. Initially wasn’t going to waste my time updating my review but after looking at the recent reviews it’s best I update it. 1/ waited over 20 minutes for a soda.. the refills should’ve just gone to nicos across the street and grabbed it there faster. 2/ waited over 20 minutes just to have our server come and acknowledge us. Then shortly after an hour of waiting for food and other items another girl shows up and claims she is our server. 3/ food came back incorrectly not all of it but the only one that I literally asked for modifications. Imagine waiting for a drink and the servers walking by you and stopping at other tables just to chat. The worst part is when I requested for a manager i was essentially told I couldn’t talk to one TWICE the blonde host girl said they are busy and got a server instead. And then when I finally spoke with the mgr she was extremely flustered and seemingly not knowing what was going on around her. Honestly will NEVER come here again regardless of weather or not the restaurant cares at least my review will help others. Couldn’t even tell you the name of my server because non of them introduced themselves neither did the manager

Okay so I haven’t done this review only because well time gets in the way and life goes on. It’s been a little over a year that I have lived here in downtown. Hands down I get the best service you can imagine from a hand full of people. Everyone knows me either by face or name and already know my order. The girls in the front are very acoomadating and always ask me if I have a prefrence which I do since I either come with my wife or by myself. Long story short Anthony has been our loyal server for the last year. And WOW I’m sitting here for lunch and he knows I am on break got my drink order and food in and still handles his full section. Again. The managers are even more than understand if there is something incorrect or whatever. I love this place. I come here way to much but they make us feel so at home and happy when we are here. My husband and I were in town visiting for the first time for his birthday weekend. We sat outside. We must have waited at least 10 mins before I had to actually flag down the hostess who came outside to seat other customers. She was the one who actually took us to our table and I had let her know that we have been waiting and no waiter has come by our table. While we were waiting One waiter passed our table he seemed as if he forgot about us and he literally tapped our table and went to another table. He was just talking with everyone else but us! After another yet 5 mins a waitress finally came and asked if anyone had come to us yet, again I responded no. Anyway, she took our order we ordered appetizers. When it came out we didn’t get any plates with it. She just brought it out. She didn’t bring us any waters, I had to ask for water (mind you the whole time we are looking at another older Caucasian couple get seated with two waters, not to mention lemons in there water, and had already been waited on) by that same male waiter who seemed to know a lot of people. I asked for water and the waitress only brought out one glass. She didn’t ask any other questions, I ordered the steak-well done, it was not well done, I ordered a Cesar salad and it didn’t come out with my meal. As a matter of fact a waiter asked me after my food if my salad had come out I told him no. So he went and got me my salad. By this whole time However, I was literally so hungry at that point I just ate my food. My husband was so annoyed and so disgusted that he didn’t even order any more food. Even after everything we still tipped our waitress. However, we will not be going back here and we would hope that they improve the service and Train their staff better. My wife, and friend and I, went in on Sunday night, got there around 8pm. When we first got there, there were a bunch of people mainly guys, watching a soccer game. We ordered our food, and the people watching the Soccer game started to get really loud, and obnoxious. As time went on they started to sing in a yelling rythmn, It got so loud we couldn't hear ourselves speak, and have a conversation. I noticed the game was on, but they weren't even watching it , they were then starting to yell and sing and clap their hands on a continuous basis for about a good 25 to 30 minutes. I kept looking over to see if some of the other customers in the restaurant were getting as annoyed as we were. I even asked 2 other tables, if they found what they were doing funny, or annoying, both tables completely agreed that they were acting obnoxious. I finally went to the manager and asked why he wouldn't even ask them to quiet down, he basically said that there was nothing he could do. We go there quite frequently, we are All Star M.V.P members, and we are there for most sporting events, we are avid sports fans, we also know that cheering for a team , is normal, what isn't normal, is a group of people, yelling and singing and not even watching their game. Other than their server trying to apologize, he said that he didn't understand why his manager would let them get so out of hand where he couldn't go and at least explain to them that they were way too loud.
