Duffy's Sports Grill — Restaurant in West Palm Beach

So I got off work late last night & decided cooking wasn't an option. My fiancee Keyania Judd who's a card holder & loves Duffy's suggested we go there. Once we arrived it was 9:50, Duffy's closes at 11 so I was already Iffy about going due to the fact I didn't want to be served old food & I didn't want to be rushed! I just wanted to enjoy myself after a long 12 hour shift at work. Now we are standing at the front waiting to be seated the host greets us then tells us one moment while she finds us a booth. Once she finds a table I literally see her brush her hand across the table because IT'S DIRTY knocking food onto the floor. When we get to the table I look under the table because I previously just saw what the host did & the floor IS FILTHY, FOOD EVERYWHERE! At this point I'm over it & ready to go because i'm big on cleanliness so now i'm disgusted. Now my fiancee is begging me to stay because it's late & were both tired & hungry. I finally suck it up & decided to just order. The waiter comes over greets us, we order everything at one time to make things easier, food, drinks, & appetizer. We get our drinks pretty quick, after about 20 minutes the appetizer finally comes out. IT WAS DISGUSTING! It was cold & looked as if it had been sitting out ALL DAY! The chicken on the nachos was under cooked & it barely had any cheese JUST CHIPS! We both eat just one chip & decide it's gross & we wont be eating it. After another 10-15 minutes the food finally comes out, I ordered wings & my fiancee ordered a chicken sandwich tossed in buffalo sauce. Both meals come out OVER COOKED & Hard as a rock! The fries with both meals are COLD. NOW we both are VERY angry & ready to go. The waiter did not FILL MY DRINK NOT ONE TIME! Did not check on us & i felt as if he was honestly rushing us to leave so he could hurry up & go home. The service & food was UNEXCEPTIONABLE & THIS WILL BE OUR LAST TIME EATING AT DUFFY ESPECIALLY AT THIS LOCATION. I will be writing reviews on every website not just this one. & YES WE STILL PAID FOR THE FOOD! NEVER...

I'd seen Duffy's locations all around Palm Beach County since I arrived last year. I was avoiding them, like most places, because I wasn't dining in restaurants til I felt more sure of relief from the pandemic. I have been dining outdoors, however, and found that this locating had a nice outdoor seating area, so I dropped in for a bite.

The overall experience was well beyond what I expected! The inside looked like a comfortable, local sports bar complete with large booths, sports memorabilia and lots of flat screen TVs viewable from nearly every angle. What surprised me, though, was the quality of service and the value of the food!

Or server, Trey, was relatively new to the job. Despite this, however, he was really on the ball and we couldn't have asked for better service! He was really attentive, amiable, honest in his sharing of opinions on food and drink and responsive to our needs. We'd definitely ask for him by name when we return.

As for the food, we started with a flavorful spicy Asian shrimp appetizer, then had a ubiquitous South Florida Mahi Sandwich and a full rack of ribs dinner.

The mahi was a HUGE portion, perhaps 6-8 ounces and it looked enormous hanging off the hamburger bun. It was cooked perfectly and was served with shoestring fries. The ribs, too, were quite good. While they were not hardwood smoked, they were still slow cooked them grilled with a slathering of BBQ sauce. They were literally fall off the bone and very juicy! They were served with crisp, fresh corn on the cob and fries.

As I said, I was really surprised by the regional Florida chain and will undoubtedly return for more great valued, Florida comfort food, drink specials and great service. Well...

Sorry for the long post! Placed a very large order first thing in the morning for this location on Village for a work luncheon at 11:30 pick up time. Which I’m sure came as a surprise to the team for the beginning of their day. The staff was so pleasant and so was the manager, Wilson. I was greeted as I walked in and was told that someone would be right with me. I was helped shortly after. I was happy to be acknowledged. I waited just a couple mins for my order. I didn’t check the time of my arrival (I was probably early) but I did not wait long for my food to come out. I asked if they didn’t mind if I double checked the order and manager Wilson said please do. I knew by the way I was treated and how everything was presented that my order was going to be correct but for my own sanity I did anyway. Everything was perfect. Wilson was a true gentleman and offered to help me with my many bags to my car. Also made sure to put them on the floor of my car nestled between the seats so they don’t tip over which I did not think of. You could tell that he is professional and has experience. Which I appreciate. I want to say a special thank you to the manager Wilson, the two young ladies that helped with my order, and the kitchen staff. Our food was great, everything that I ordered was correct and neatly placed in the bags. Exceptional...
