This new family-owned and operated restaurant is adorable and eager to please. I hope they do well, because they were very, very friendly, community-oriented, and serve a nice little niche market I didn't know I needed - waffles and baked potatoes. Who doesn't love waffles and baked potatoes?!?? Tasty, tasty waffles you just wanna sniff all night (but even better if you eat them). I haven't had the potatoes yet, but I watched the dad cook one for someone else, and it was MASSIVE, even before getting stuffed.

I love that they're open until midnight - more places downtown should be open until midnight! With waffles and potatoes, maybe even both at once, it's a great stop to carb up before or during a bender (after, if you're not staying out too late). It'd be wise of them to team up with the Garden District around the corner, which closes around 8-11pm, depending, so hey, you're done here, but your night can still carry on with some goodness if you get your NumNum fix 😅💕 Just writing this is making me want a waffle...

The decor inside is nice and snazzy, colourful and inviting. I really like the large paintings. There are inside and outside tables ... I hope they end up snagging a parking space like Blind Monk's used to do (no idea what'd that cost though). All my fellow locals should definitely stop in at least once, maybe try some simple waffles and a nice Turkish tea to test things out a little if you're not sure, and get to know the owners. It's nice to have unique places like this hiding out, right there next to the new Downtown Ambassadors hub, and everything else around us is either all the way over on Clematis or closes before sunset, like they're afraid...
