This review is more so about customer service than (food ) But I don’t care a bout our great the food is great customer service is what keep your customers coming back
Ive been coming to rocking crabs for years to the point where I give my number and they know my name Already!
First experience I called to place a pick up order when I payed the lady at the register was hesitant to give me my food not sure why Once I left a tall guy came out and chase me I thought he assumed I didn’t pay. Due to the fact they have a lot of dine and dashes but it’s very embarrassing and no apology was given ! Not all black people steal !
Today current day 07/31/2025 I decided I’m in the mood for some blue crab vI decided to give Rock crab another try very hesitant after the last situation . I walked in proceeded to pay for me food once my receipts printed I had to ask her to hand me phone food even after I paid she was holding my food hostage like what the hell I’m so pissed like I was going to run out with my food even though my transaction had already been approved she was very hesitant to hand me my order.
It’s clear you guys have a stereotype problem You guys have lost a long time costumer
I’m fresh off work I pay for everything I don’t have to steal your crabs ! You should blow those pictures you have posted up a little bigger.
Disgrace and to think you guys act have good seafood but it will always be about customer service for me ! And to that rocking crab good riddance if you want to be treated like a thief this is the perfect place to eat .

The king crab was about $50 a pound, and they delivered two massive legs with meat so sweet, tender, and perfectly cooked that we were pulling every bite like it was our last meal. Even my wife, who is a professional chef and seafood expert (and normally has a sharp palate for critique), was speechless—just savoring every bite without a single complaint. That never happens.
And let’s talk about the vibe—pure joy. My brother and his wife kept watching us newbies devour bucket after bucket like we’d been starved for years. The service? Spot-on. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming—not just to us but also to our two service dogs. No weird looks, no back corner seating—just genuine hospitality.
One small but thoughtful touch: the bibs came with plastic gloves tucked inside. They weren’t top-tier gloves, so you’ll still get your hands a little saucy—but hey, it’s part of the fun. Just wash up after, and you’re golden.

I returned a week later, and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. Our server, Demetria, was amazing—friendly, prompt, and informative. Even though we arrived a few minutes past happy hour, they still honored the drink specials, which was a nice touch. The food was delicious! As a spice lover, I was thrilled to find that “spicy” actually meant spicy. My husband, who is super picky about fried rice, actually loved theirs—which says a lot. Overall, a great experience. The only thing I didn’t care for were the cage-like decorations, but that’s just personal taste. Looking forward to coming back!
Extremely disappointed with my first visit. My boss raved about this place, so I stopped by to grab food for both of us—but the experience was a mess. I ordered a rice dish with specific modifications for him, and it came with none of the requested changes. He didn’t touch it. I also ordered 1 lb of crab legs and 2 lbs of shrimp, but they didn’t include any of the shrimp. I called to see if I could pick up the missing shrimp, get a refund, or at least a credit.
