Taste of Italy — Restaurant in West Palm Beach

EDIT (05/2022): we still talk about how delicious this pizza was. we visited 5 countries on a cruise, and this was the most memorable meal of the trip.

ORIGINAL: Wife and I were staying in a hotel the night before our cruise in Dec. and were craving pizza. Decided to take a chance despite some of the reviews.

OWNER INTERACTION Contrary to those reviews, the owner was pleasant with us on the phone and in the restaurant. Because we were taking the pizza back to the hotel, he offered us paper plates, napkins, and some plastic utensils. The owner also warned us to keep the box steady so the toppings don't slide off.

PIZZA The pizza was extremely hot, fresh out of the oven. It looked (as you can see) and smelled (you cannot smell the pic unfortunately) absolutely amazing! And it tasted DELICIOUS. The cheese was super melty and stretchy, and there was so much meat! We were (I was) afraid we wouldn't have enough, so we ordered a large. It was more than plenty, and we forced ourselves to finish it even though we were full because we didn't want to waste any.

VERDICT Great pizza! Great place! If you don't want your toppings to slide, listen to the owner and keep the box steady because hot, melty cheese =...

I never write reviews but If I could give this place 0 stars I would, Horrible customer service. My boyfriend went to pickup and they said 30 minutes, he had to wait an extra 15 minutes and NO ONE told him to keep the pizza box straight like they claimed.When he got home all of the cheese and toppings are completely off the pizza(he kept it on the floor when he was driving) and from the reviews it’s probably from all the cheese they use. Once I called to tell them what had happen they where very defensive and rude, they said it’s not their problem and they won’t do anything to accommodate us and said they told him to keep the box straight but then changed her story and was making comments saying “ its common sense it’s fresh out of the oven.” when I have had other pizzas We have never had this problem.we had to throw it away. A waste of $25. I talked to the owner and he was so rude right off the bat. I do not recommend coming to this place. There is so many better places that deserve our support and that have good...

First of all it is my first time coming there. My wife and I opened the door and it looks empty, uninviting. The audacity the lady behind the counter had is shocking!! Instead of greeting us and saying give us a min we will be right with you she opened the door to the kitchen and yells at a gentleman to come and help us. He was kind and polite… we see online they have specialty slices available. Nothing was out to see and the only thing they do is make the old plain slice into a specialty slice… my wife and I decided to go to a different place. As we are leaving she talks down to him and blames him for us leaving…. I almost walked back in. We left because of your rudeness, and the fact that you have a empty pizza place. We feel so bad for the guy…. Don’t blame him for us leaving when you were the issue to make us feel so uncomfortable as soon as we get there. G-d forbid you greeted a customer .
