Well, well, well. I am not sure if this place is owned and run by the same person/s that are in Rockland Plaza, but if you are, here is a bit of advice. Have the Chef/cook who prepares the food at the Rockland location create “Spec” sheets for each and everything she/he creates. Next, distribute them to each and every Brooklyn Place. Then have all of your kitchen workers follow those specifications to the T. This will ensure that your juice tastes the same at each location. It will ensure that your potatoes taste the same at each location. I ordered the same food I got at the Rockland location. Turkey bacon, eggs, home fries and toast. As you can see in the video, my bread was almost as white as snow. Toast it was not. Compare that to my review of the Rockland location. Next, the home fries, although tasty, were in no way, shape or form in the same league as those made at the Rockland location. Theirs were made with peppers and onions and this location in West Reading, just served seasoned potatoes. Personally, I LOVE ONIONS. Especially when they are added to potatoes. The rest of the dish was good. However, I did notice that their price for a side of turkey bacon was astronomical. I was satisfied with the meal, but I won’t be returning to this location. With that in mind, my name “BigDaveIsFat” says it all. “Get You Grub On,” BUT BE CAREFUL AT...
Read moreme and my boyfriend went here and we always go here if we wake up early, he introduced me to this place and im so in love w it. the staff are very friendly, and food comes out so fresh. i have never tasted anything as fresh as this restaurant, this is honestly the best restaurant in all of west reading, reading, wyomissing, and temple all combined. i had the french toast w bananas, strawberries, and nutella and its such a huge serving, i thought i wouldnt even finish it. and its for such a good price as well, im not even a huge strawberry person but that dish is so good. GET THE STRAWBERRY LEMONADE, everything here is fresh and made on the spot, they use the blender and you will NEVER taste anything like it. i swear to god, NO lemonade even compares to this one right here. He got the Peanut Butter and Banana shake, and again REALLY GOOD, you can really taste the peanut butter and that just makes it even better. i also ate the philly sandwich, get it. im not even a huge fan of sandwiches but that one right there is the best one i ever had in my life.

Read moreCozy little neighborhood cafe situated on the corner of 5th Ave and Franklin St. In West Reading, PA one block off Penn Ave. My wife and I walked over to check it out for brunch and we’re glad we did. The first thing I noticed when ww walked in is that the cafe is bright and squeaky clean from top to bottom. Our server was Amy who was very cheerful and helpful. My wife and I both ordered the toasted everything bagel with fresh lox, cream cheese, capers, tomato, red onion, and scallion, a hash brown patty, and coffee. It’s hard to get excited about a darn lox and bagel sandwich but I honestly have to say that in all my 70 years, this particular sandwich was the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had plenty. I’m the head of sales and customer service for global traffic and parking technology company and I travel a great deal. Every ingredient of my sandwich was fresh. Every portion was generous. I could taste each of the ingredients. The smoked salmon was first class; rich, smokey, and generous. Many places put a paper-thin slice of lox on the bagel and call it a sandwich. Brooklyn Place is a “Must Visit” destination. You won’t be...
