I went to this Wendy's on 2/19/24 (&:30am) the first thing I did when the went to the window was ask for a small vanilla frosty cold brew. The lady told me told me, "We don't have any." Me, "Oh, ok..." "I can make some, it will take about 10 mins, I have to grab the concentrate from the back." "Ok, I have time-" Before I can finish what I was saying she scoffs. "Wait you want to wait for it?" "If its not too much trouble-" She cuts me off again "It that all you want?" "Could I also get a Honey biscuit chicken sandwich?" "What else?" "Thats it." "Move to the second window." "Thank you!" When I roll up to the window I tell her I have a coupon that I received in the mail for the sandwich, and before I could even show her the coupon, she said, "We don't take those." I looked puzzled because I was there last week and they took them. She said, "Our scanner doesn't work and there is no way for me to manually apply the coupon, the scanner has been down for 3 days." "Oh ok." My coupon didn't have the barcode anyways she gave off pissy vibes, so I didn't want to be a hassle for her. She then hands me my drink (mind you this all happened in less then 2 minutes) and she said, "While we were talking, my coworker grabbed the coffee stuff from the back and made it." I said thank you and waited for my sandwich, which came out perfect. I drove off and took a sip of my drink, which tasted like it had not flavor, it was straight bitter. I couldn't taste the vanilla frosty at all, it was also super water in consistency. now mind you I got the same drink last week (When I used my coupon) and it tasted amazing! I don't know if they used old concentrate (Although it sounds like it comes from a bottle, not freshly made.) I didn't go back, the lady already gave me so much attitude. If you're wondering why they have you pull up and park by the door to wait for your food after you paid, it's because they have a timer. This timer begins once you pull up towards the window and stops once you move away (indicating you've been served), the intention of the timer is for you to get your food in a timely manner but instead of improving the service, they just manipulate the timer to deceive the data it's ment to collect. They also manipulate this by not taking your order until they remove the car thats paying at the window. So until that car moves, they are not worried about taking your order. You need to wait, they have a timer they need to deceive. They are capable of getting it done in the proper time, if they use the training provided to them, but why do that? That means being efficient, that's too much work, efficient means happy customers, happy customers mean repeat customers. That creates a good reputation and a good reputation brings more people. No!
