My daughter and I went here to celebrate my deceased mother’s birthday on 11/6/23. There was barely anyone there and it took forever for someone to even come to take our order. The waitress finally came and was very nice. We waited at least another 20 minutes to even get the biscuits. After that, she brought my drink, but not my daughter’s. We waited at least another 30 minutes for our appetizers and they were the wrong thing when she brought them. We told her and asked to speak to the manager. The manager Cesar came to our table to see what was wrong and we told him that it had been taking too long. He proceeded to talk rudely to me and would talk right over me. My daughter was the only one able to get a word in edgewise. He made the excuse that because they make everything fresh, it takes longer. Well it had already been an hour. After the manager left, the waitress came out and told us that they did not have what we had ordered. We were very frustrated and asked for the manager again. He came back and said they could fix something else, but then he insisted that we hurry up and decide what we wanted so they could get started. By that time we had both lost our appetite and didn’t want anything. He insisted on getting us something, so we got the country fried steak. He also offered not to charge us for one of our meals and give us free desserts. At that point, not only did we not want to eat, but it was too late to go shopping in their store, which we had looked forward to and done in the past. Well we took all of our food including the desserts home, because we no longer wanted them and we really didn’t know what else to do with them. We also had ordered some appetizers that we never received as well. It was a very upsetting and disappointing experience since my mother had loved going there so much! The manager CESAR was also quite rude to us the whole time. We will never ever ever go there again!!! Also, we spoke to other people who were there as well, and they had been having problems as well. One couple said it was their fourth time going there to try to make it right and showed us their coupon for a free meal that was not used because they messed up again! If I had the option, I would have given them -5 stars! We were really upset about it because we had never had such a bad experience at any restaurant before...

(The useless bot response to my review further proves that cracker barrel no longer care about their customers).

Cracker Barrel has long been known as a safe haven for travelers (especially families) to stay for the night on their journeys across the states. Having a hot meal before bed or before returning to the road in the morning is a time-honored tradition for many.

This location, however, has recently shed their roots and banned overnight parking in their lot. Now, the well-lit parking lot with many spaces for cars and RVs will remain mostly empty for all hours. I don't suppose they will miss the business of all the travellers who will now be turned away late at night? Beware those with young ones who will have to find late night parking in an unfriendly area or fork over on the spot fees for a hotel room nearby.

We pass through here fairly often, and it's always been filled with other travelers whenever we stopped, so we expected no different this time. Unbeknownst to us, while we made our sleeping arrangements, a manager or overzealous employee was watching us from their car with headlights blazing for almost an hour (no this didn't tip us off, clueless aholes in lots is nothing new), they could have informed us of their changed policy so we could move on. Instead, they waited until we got settled in bed, then drove over and yelled at us through the window that they would call the cops if we didn't leave immediately.

Yes, there have been new signs posted proclaiming no overnight parking, but they look identical in style to the old signs that welcomed it, so its not easy to catch. Other signs still remain that would indicate they are still friendly to overnight travelers, but I guess they didn't bother removing them since they don't explicitly state that its allowed overnight. The RV parking sign is even still there.

Well. Guess we'll have to find a nice local diner in the morning that isn't so overpriced and sloppily served as cracker barrel has become recently, i suppose I should thank them for reminding us they no longer care for...

Very nice place 👌 we like the fact the wait wasn't long on a Friday night Sept. 2020 during Covid-19 we literally waited for 7 mins. There was sickers on the floor to stand on 6ft apart from each other outside of the store. The shop is the very first thing you're walking into so parents beware! They have all kinds of old school candies, cream sodas, a beautiful gift shop especially right now its fall items and Xmas items! So beautiful (kind of like kohl's mix with world market), they sell good quality clothes too for women, kids, toddlers & babies. I didnt see much of men apparel but there are other stuff/gifts. The restaurant itself was clean and very well put in place for Covid19 safety, everyone wore masks and cleaned after each costumers table. Our waiter Sarah was great, attentive and on it, she has a honest opinion about the menu. We liked how counrty/50s feeling this dinner has and it made us feel very comfortable and the kids loved it. Our food was so delicious, juicy and the little glass syrup bottles were free to keep 😋 👌 its definitely a place to take your family to go eat, at anytime of the day especially if your family is from out of state! Big windows, felt roomy, high ceilings, neutral colors, great lighting, ac running perfectly, bathrooms clean 💫 will be hard for a wheelchair to go through the shop to the restaurant but the restaurant itself has plenty of room for any type of wheelchair ♿ 🥰 this place is for families and couples and if your single well theres plenty of room for your friends to come with you and have fun too! 👍 😊 one more important thing... ICE PEACH TEA is a must try! Very dangerously delicious 😋 😜 we bought half a gallon to go! It was bomb! 💣💯 there was a healthy mixer of ethnicity here! And that's important for us since we are a mixture of ethnicities 😉...

Overall great food & kind employees! We got the loaded hash brown casserole tots appetizer - delicious, flavorful, crisp outside & smooth inside, & great with the ranch, cheese, & bacon. My fiancé got fried chicken with mashed potatoes, brown gravy, & bacon mac n' cheese - the chicken breast was moist & breading/chicken was crispy & flavorful. I got chicken & dumplings with mashed potatoes, fried okra, & fried apple with a side of biscuits & cornbread. If texture matters to you when you eat or if you don't love gravy, I don't recommend chicken & dumplings - I enjoy gravy & the chicken was tender. Avoid the fried apples if your sensitive to sweet things, I only got them because I wanted something sweet (I couldn't finish them as they're very sweet, but a good side dish if you don't want to order a separate dessert after). Fried okra was average - not much flavor, not soggy, not very crispy. Biscuits were good, but the cornbread was very hard on the outside, soft on the inside - I don't eat cornbread often, but I don't think it should be crunchy outside... Also, the fruit stand tea was great! It wasn't syrupy or super sweet like teas are at some places. The menu said the tea was infused with peach, apricot, & dark cherry, & that's exactly what it tasted like - very refreshing, especially on a warm/hot day. I think our waitress was Bethany (short straight blonde hair down), she did a great job too :) Definitely will come back for more, hopefully they'll still have the limited time fudge hot chocolate!
