The first time my husband brought this home I liked it! The second time I went with him and I wanted the macaroni pasta there but when I walked up to it had flies on it so I said never mind. Everything was good except the rice. We went last night and the cashier seemed mad bc the guy told us they had fruit cups so this chick knew it was for a five year old and went and got the fruit and cut onion then my daughters fruit and my daughter once we got in truck said it’s nasty! I saw her grab the melon and oranges and onion but didn’t think anything of it as we sat down to wait. I tasted it and yes you could taste onion all over the fruit! She even charged us two large for one macaroni pasta at $7.98 each and told us it’s bc they’re bigger containers and wouldn’t give us the reciept. The guy had to put everything on the register for her bc she didn’t know how and when I told her we only got one she wouldn’t change it. The whole thing with what she did with the fruit upset me af bc that was for my baby. How you going to cut onion then cut fruit! Then the macaroni was all dry and not good same as the rice. Beans were good and the chicken too. But 16$ for one tub of macaroni? The register said 2 large so idk how she tried to say it’s equal to small tubs if it said two large at 7.98!each which is about 16$. For one tub of macaroni This lady ruined it for me and I don’t think I’ll ever go back!I literally asked if y’all had any fruit cups ready it’s not my fault the man said yes and then you had to cut it. That’s why I asked if they are ready. Any way yea the 60 bucks for 8 piece of chicken and beans was not worth it bc no one ate the rice macaroni or fruit. The dads restaurant down the street is...
Read moreAmazing burritos. Green sauce is great. The rice was delicious. Portions are big. Homemade tortilla chips and two types of salsa came with my meal. They were both great! Loved the pickled onions on top. Tamales were strangely, sweet. They give you a tamale of masa and then just add whatever meat you want on top. With queso fresco. It was good minis the sweetness. The cold macaroni salad had great flavor and the sweet plantains were sweet and had great texture. The sweet and spicy wings were good. But I prefer my wings with more of a crisp. Still good. Lots of drinks options. Bottled soda, fountain drinks and aguas frescas. They told me they're open til 1am on most days! There is a small juice place inside sperate from the restaurant. They have fresh pressed juice, acai bowls, and fruit. I tried a cafe de olla and it was strong and very good. On my top 3, now! Kim runs that section and she was super nice and conversed with me a bit. Her goal is to help folks find healthy options. The customer service here was great. Fast and friendly! Plenty of parking....
Read moreAfter a concert we along with many other people descended upon this place for some late night eats. During the mass tacoing that occurred we were given the wrong food. As soon as the server heard our confused "umm" he offered to remake it, but it looked so good we couldn't send it back and accepted the delivery.... He was so nice and genuinely apologetic. We didn't care we were happy to be eating awesome food. Then he showed up with the right order and gave us that too! Also good. Considering the immense pressure that was put on their staff on concert night I think they killed it. Every plate that came to our groups table was consistent, Fresh hot and nicely plated. I'm from Montana but if we come back to Utah again we will be dropping by. Observing other tables delight and appreciation I'd say they probably thrive under pressure and late night staffing and quality high volume food is...
