Greek Souvlaki — Restaurant in West Valley City

4 stars because I still have hope for this place. It used to be one of my favorites. On this trip I ordered the souvlaki/dalmathes plate. It was good, the pork stick was tender and the grape leaves weren't bitter/chewy like at some other places. In the same order another family member ordered a meal with sweet potato fries and that'swhere we were disappointed. They were hard and dried out and the rest of her meal wasn't spectacular. It seems like every time we've gone in the last 6 months or so, something has been off. I hope they get their mojo back. Despite that misstep, the orders are always correct, no matter how particular we are about condiments, special requests, and toppings. I don't believe I've ever come home feom the drive thru to find out items were missing or incorrect. I never feel I need to check the bag before pulling away. I came here after a disappointing visit to the South Jordan location last year. This is only my second time at Greek Souvlaki and it will be my last. The service was better here than my last experience. However the food is just mid. The Gyro although huge lacked flavor. The onions were too small, there was one small piece of tomatoe on it and the white sauce just lacked flavor. The lemon rice I had here was better though still not my favorite I FAR prefer Yannis or Mad Greek lemon rice. The lemon rice here is almost as if they just dye it yellow with food coloring and put it all together and too top it off it's mushy. The best part of my meal was my soft drink. It's unfortunate that this place isn't better as they're located all around the valley and I'd love to stop in when I'm in the area wanting Greek food. Instead I'll got out of my...

We have started coming fairly often and were just there in the drive through and our order was completely wrong. We had to get our side fixed at the window, and our meals were supposed to be only protein due to allergies but both meals had all veggies still included. The only time we've had our meal correct was through door dash... Disappointed we didn't dig through the sauce to check for onions but we shouldn't have to....

Edit- after 3 attempts to reach a manager about this we finally reached someone who was unable to give us a refund because it is nearly a week later, (we called Saturday, day of, Monday next open day, and today the next day we could).
