The food was fantastic. I'm not sure if it was slow to come out, or it was because I was so hungry when we got there. I had a Hangover Burger with an over hard egg. All came cooked as I had asked. Also had the nachos and cheese sticks. The nachos had an unexpected kick to them, and the chicken was absolutely delicious. We found ourselves digging to get the last piece. The cheese sticks are very large. The first bite had enormous stretch quality to it. The breaded texture ok the outside gave a wonderful crunch. Like something you'd find at a county fair. There is a fair amount of space between the batter and the cheese, which I found to hold their sweet marina perfectly so I could skip the dipping altogether. Our waitress visited our table at least 3 times to check in, we waited on refills for maybe 3 minutes, not horrible. The restaurant had a fair amount of diners, but not too busy. The women's bathroom was clean, with 2 stalls. There was a changing table, and they provided bags to wrap diapers in before throwing them away. My boyfriend said he did not have the same experience in the men's room. The urinals were filled, went to the stall, and then found the toilet had seen battle that day. Overall, we were seated quickly, we waited on food, but not so long it was uncomfortable. It wasn't too loud either. Our food was fantastic! Which is the most important part.

We were excited to find this place on our way from PA to OH. We want to support our Veterans anyway we can being a Veteran myself. We timed it just right to arrive for 1100 opening. Service was a little slow (considering it wasn't too busy), but it was OK. After receiving a mildly friendly welcome, we were seated right away (we were the first customers for lunch). Our somewhat disheveled-looking waitstaff promptly appeared to take our drink orders. We gave our food orders when she came back with our drinks. We waited for about 25 minutes before our food came out of the kitchen. Unfortunately my burgher was just OK in spite of the special fresh blend of meat (I believe it's their main selling point). It lacked any wow factor. It may have been a case of having a too high of expectations on my part. Also, I asked for medium, but it was more like medium well (there was no pink in the middle at all). It even needed to have some salt and pepper to taste. The blackened chicken salad had a whole lot of iceberg lettuce, but it lacked flavors even with pouring balsamic vinaigrette on it. I heard the chicken was the best part. I really wanted to love this place since it is advertised as Disabled Veteran-Owned establishment. We drive back and forth between OH & PA. I think it'll be a very long time for our next visit here if any.

Bubba's is that place that you always forget is there due to its poor location tucked away in the back of the Highlands, but when it comes getting a beer and a burger you can't go wrong. Bubba's prides itself in over-sized meals and it's easy to over-order: appetizers are all tasty - the grilled zucchini is nearly impossible to pass.up, the mozzarella sticks are easily the biggest I've ever seen and loaded with cheese, and the pretzel can feed 10 people. Bubba's pride themselves on their burgers. Rather than a ground chuck or other cheap parts of the cow, Bubba's grinds brisket, ribeye, strip and sirloin, making for a very flavorful burger. There's enough variety in toppings and different burgers to make your decision hard and in the number of times I've been there I've not had a bad burger yet. The beer selection consists of your typical domestics, the new seltzer trend and local crafts. If I have a chief complaint, it's that every time I order a draft my first pick is out. All in all, Bubba's is a great place for a good burger. They have healthier menu options which I've yet to explore, but I never leave hungry unsatisfied.

This was my husband and I first and last trip to this restaurant. When we got there the restaurant was not very busy and it appeared they had a good many working that night. The waitress on first impression was nice but that is all I could say about her. My husband and I placed our order right away and ask her if we could start with the grilled zucchini. She brings us these two tiny paper plates with no silverware and we sat there for at least 25 minutes before we received our appetizer. The zucchini was delivered by another waitress who just lays it on the table and walks away. Now we have our appetizer but nothing to eat it with. We flagged down yet another waitress and ask for silverware and still we sat with nothing. The waitress we ask walked by our table a couple of times and still we sat without silverware. A waiter was delivering food to another table and after he served it we flagged him down and ask could we please have some silverware? Finally someone brings our silverware and said sorry we didn’t have any rolled so we had to roll some all the while our appetizer is getting cold and still we do no see our waitress. Hum!!!! That is how are first experience started and it just got worse from there. Both my husband and I were in this line of business for years and like he said while we were there he only saw one waiter hustling and the rest I have no idea what they were doing. We never saw our waitress again until we got our check. Never received refills on our drinks etc. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service to say the least and the food was mediocre at best. Oh and our bill was $45.00. We would not mind paying these prices if the food and service was good but they dropped the ball for sure. One thing I do know is we will NOT be returning and I will let...

This place has went downhill. Bland burgers, Dirty, Burnt apps, and no bacon. I understand the no bacon if the truck didn’t deliver it but almost every burger has bacon on it on the menu and no offer to discount because of no bacon. You can write it on the chalk board out front. $75 for lunch is a little on the high side also. It took awhile we was there almost 2 hours. I would go to another establishment for your meal.EDIT To the owner that responded to my review. 2 adults and 2 children so 2 burger meals and 2 kids meals I’m not arguing with the price I have the bank statement to prove it. The apps we burnt I’m sorry I didn’t see you at my table when the food arrived or I would have said hello. You have a big board out front where you could have stated there was no bacon, but no let’s let people set down and order apps then inform them of no bacon. It doesn’t matter how many burgers you have on your menu when I wanted one with bacon. The restaurant is filthy the soap dispensers had no soap no paper towels and pee all over the floors in the bathroom. Wrappers and dirt all over the floor in the dining area. As I can see from your other response to negative feedback that these issue will not be corrected anytime soon because you cannot handle criticism and it’s never your fault and the person leaving the review is always wrong. If I ever decide to eat at your establishment again I’ll be sure to take pictures of the dirty restaurant and the burnt appetizers for you viewing pleasure. But it’s not likely I will return after your response calling me a liar. Good luck and I wish you the best with your restaurant, but you need to open your eyes and quit saying that all the negative...
