Wayback Burgers — Restaurant in Westborough

The food was great, albeit a bit on the pricier side, considering the size of the burgers. Although TBH, considering the flavors and quality, maybe the prices aren't so bad 🤷🏼. The spicy cheese curds were amazeballs, de-freakin-licious 🤌🏼. My only complaint (if you can call it a complaint) is that I'm not sure the individual item notes on the mobile order were heeded, as I had requested extra A1 on my burger, but it still felt kinda light). Not a super big deal tho, as it was still tasty.

The restaurant itself was clean and orderly, even the backend (what I could see from the counter side at least) looked rather immaculate.

The staff was pleasant and friendly, which at the time is saying a lot, as they had been inundated and massively overwhelmed by a seemingly endless onslaught of highschoolers (who apparently had all decided to walk over for lunch on a half-day).

I had ordered ahead in the app, and once a staff member saw that I didn't exactly fit in with the rest of the highschooler crowd in line, they immediately thought to ask if I was there for pickup and got me my order.

Special props to the young lady behind the counter for sparing me from suffering the wait in line with all that incessant teenage chitchat...

This was so good. I was pleasantly surprised at the food quality and service. Malory helped me with my order and was so knowledgeable about what I should try. She suggested the inverted cheeseburger, which essentially was a grilled cheese turned burger. I got some of the house sauce and put some on the burger, heaven. To top it off, the tots were fire, fresh and crisp. The price was fair/average for what other burger spots offer. Good spot for cheat day, a must try imo.

The one thing I want to point out to the ownership is that tipping was not an option. It's decent quality food and the work for that isn't easy. Tips...
