If you’re a conservative, AVOID!!! The food is always good at Donatos, however, this time I feel compelled to comment due to the service and how I was treated. So, I was wearing a shirt that showed my support of the 2nd Amendment when three of us entered the restaurant and we were greeted by a very young female worker named Crystal. From the moment I entered I sensed a bit of unspoken disdain directed towards me alone, which can only be attributed to my shirt. The unfriendly treatment continued the entire time we were there and after ordering, my friends received their two subs in a normal timely manner, but even after another 15 minutes my order still had not arrived. My friend ended up going to the counter to ask why and she saw them just starting to make my order So about 7 minutes later I finally got it. I spoke to the manager who, was also obviously a strong liberal too, stated that there were only 4 of them working. Ok, but the three of us were the ONLY ones in the restaurant! She offered to take my items off the bill and I said that’s fine, but then never took them off! I called her when I got home and she asked me to hold and then put me on the eternal hold!!! LOL, these people are insane! It’s really too bad that people will let their political opinions get in the way of professionalism. Those that say “stop the hate” need to start practicing what they preach. I never once treated any one of them with anything but kindness and courtesy, maybe you could try doing the same. Enjoy your safe place, I will never go back...
Read moreThe pizza is great. But the manager at the Donatos north location (Andy Peters) is a raging inebriate (drunk). Frequently you will hear him yelling, cursing at, and putting his employees down in very vulgar ways. One of his employees could simply make a delivery five minutes late and he subsequently would be in their face calling them all sorts of degrading names, summing up to them being "worthless". It's horrible to see such a nice restaurant managed by such an angry man. He's so loud with it you can actually hear him cursing from the dinning room. So I probably wouldn't bring your children here, on the off chance you catch him in a bad mood. So much for being a family joint. You can practically see all the booze oozing out of his facial pores. On one occasion I actually approached him about my concerns in a very polite manner and he actually told me that I could leave the restaurant. That "nobody is making [me] eat here". It's truly sad and i feel bad for ALL his employees. I want to hire them all to come work for me so they wont have to be degraded like that simply for a paycheck! I wish corporate would step in and kick him to the curb for their...
Read moreWent to this Donatos location at 861 N State St, Westerville, OH. We are not local to this areas. We ordered (at the front desk upon arrival) a large pepperoni and sausage. The second pizza let me tell you. We ordered the works pizza. Simple, right? We proceeded to our table to sit down and wait for our food. Pizza comes nice and quick. We get the large pepperoni and sausage we ordered. The works however, did not arrive. Instead, the lady sets down large pepperoni, sausage, shaved ham, and bacon pizza. Out of confusion with my wife we tell the worker we ordered the works pizza. She states that this is "our" version of the works or "supreme" pizza. We have ordered many times the works pizza from Donatos and is certainly was not it. We went with the flow and said no more to this clearly, uniformed staff member about what pizza is what on their own menu and the place they work for. THE WORKS pizza toppings are: pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, yellow onions and mushrooms. Train the staff better so they know what the hell they are talking about and what is on their menu and which pizza is which. Complete nonsense and fools...
