It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review.,, But, EVERY TIME I go to this Taco Bell something goes wrong.
In the past between waiting in the drive-thru for almost 45 minutes (which they gave us coupons for waiting), nasty/rude employees, & just food getting ridiculously messed up - I’m over it.
This time, & this has happened before - ALMOST pretty much my ENTIRE order was screwed up. If you have picky children that you want to make sure are fed, DO NOT get food from here. 9/10 times they mess up EVERYTHING.
Before I a had mess up at this Taco Bell, went inside, & the person at the counter had the nerve to pretty much tell me it’s my fault & refuse to fix the issue.
Another time, they were going to fix the issue & I stood inside for almost 30 MINUTES waiting because they kept “forgetting” to have the back employees make the food… & kept helping others coming in while I stood there with my child waiting… patiently. When I brought up I was still waiting the girl at the register got nasty with me telling me “they’re working on it”, I continued to wait, & they still didn’t tell them to make it.
I once had an employee there run their mouth about me in front of my face for coming in & saying I was missing something & got the wrong sauces.
This is about the SIXTH time that tacos I ordered very specifically to be REGULAR & NOT supreme - came supreme. Leaving my child with no dinner after driving home almost 20 minutes away. To add - I was given things that I did not order & was missing things I did order… Which, again, this has happened multiple times leading to this review.
The food we did get - all 4 hard tacos were literally broken into pieces & not inside the normal cardboard holder. Everything was everywhere.
What REALLY turned me off was whomever I spoke to on the phone pretty much telling me my only options from my almost $40 order getting ROYALLY MESSED UP was to either - DRIVE BACK (with 2 kids, a newborn who’s hungry now, & another kid who now has no dinner & I have to drop off in less than an hour) for them to remake my same order & that I need to bring the messed up order (my question is why? They’re going to throw it out, literally wasting the food - which was my BIGGEST TURN OFF in this) OR them take my name & phone number & the next time I come they can remake the same order. THE SAME ORDER… Not just compensate me for what I sent, but make me the same order - THE ORDER THEY MESSED UP COMPLETELY.
So… I can only be compensated for a messed up almost $40 order by them remaking food that we now don’t even want? &/or returning the wrong food for them to throw out? I want my money back. I just spent around $40 for food my child cannot even eat… & I’m the one expected to drive back to them almost 20 minutes away, with my 2 kids… to wait for our same order to be made?
Taco Bell… you are literally one of my favorite fast food places & I eat at your restaurants often… but seriously at this specific Taco Bell, you need to purge all these people who consistently mess up peoples orders & are nasty to the customer… & if those are really the ONLY choices for compensation, yall need to really figure something else out because that’s extremely messed up. Make it make sense… & please have this location get their sh!t together because EVERY SINGLE TIME they mess up SOMETHING. Every....
Read moreThe worst Taco Bell anywhere. I will never return. I tell them the oil is rancid, they blame it on corporate changing the chip recipe. Once before I complained that the beans were spoiled. Again, the same guy told me that’s just the way burritos are. Straight into the trash these two meals went. And I don’t complain unless things are dangerous and unfit. I could have nearly every time I went there though. The employees are constantly bickering and gossiping. Real poisonous low life talk. All gossip, no attention to food quality. I worked at Taco Bell 35 years ago. I’ve been going to Taco Bell for 45 years. And every time, really, dozens and dozens of times, the Matamoras/Milford location has messed up a meal, missed multiple items, or sent me home with entirely wrong orders. I started only eating in. Now, it’s even downright unfit for consumption food. Problems at other Taco Bells are so rare that I can’t remember an issue. Everytime I leave the Middletown location, it reminds me of how good Taco Bell can be, and just how lousy Matamoras is. Employee culture is everything. The Matamoras one really should have every employee fired and start over. And I don’t say that lightly. They are people who need jobs. But they sure don’t act like it. If it was my franchise, I would wipe away the rotten attitudes, the rotten culture and the rotten food, and start over. It is not run to the franchise standards. Each guest is a burden to these people. It’s truly disgusting. Employees who care about the customers health and the business that employs them are not that hard to find. Read moreAs a former manager at this establishment who is currently returning for the mean time while still established down south, to help her family, I say what I say with the most up right respect for all those reading and for the establishment as a whole with complete and total honesty.
The Milford location has seen its share of hardships and experienced its downfalls throughout the past few years. As many businesses do. From faulty business technique, previous ownership, lack of communication, commitment, and work ethic within management as well as employees. It is safe to say that some have not been given the privilege to experience the "good days" to say the least which I can confidently say is more often than not.
The managing staff as of late has improved significantly and will continue to ensure 100% customer satisfaction which has and always be the ultimate goal. We are always passing our CORE inspections with flying colors and are nothing lower than 90% We take pride in our food safety and the quality of the food and the atmosphere of our resturant. Our new franchise store owner is the best we have had yet. Truly a stand up guy who is doing his absolute best to improve every error that has been created before him.
My personal goal in life let alone in a work place is too help others and create a positive, healthy and welcoming atmosphere foral those who care to be apart.
