First, let me start by saying the atmosphere is five stars for a pizzeria. Very clean and inviting. Working at the showcase of the pizza available for slices to go was plentiful. This review is based on a plain slice, which came out fresh from the oven. Even though the dough is cooked, it still has a mouth feel of it being undercooked. There is a huge flop to this pizza and very bland for flavors. Nothing really stands out for me with exception to getting some salt on the pallet. Based on the plain slice, I probably would not return here however seeing a couple slices that looked very appealing in there showcase would have me come back to try one of their specialty slices. All in all, there are too many other pizzerias close by that I feel taste a lot better. If this review was based on food alone, I would give it no more than three stars. However, throwing in the atmosphere and service I give this place four stars overall.

This place has some(if not) THE BEST pizza in the ENTIRE United States! I have been all over this country and I've been to Chicago multiple times. The guys that work there are the "coolest" dudes you will ever meet! The place is so clean, it's scary! They play world music which makes it even better. I go here once-a-week and get the same thing every time. And it's always perfect. If there's a better pizza joint in the U.S., I dare you to find it! 'Cause you won't. One of my favorite places to eat in the country!

Chick parm with mozzarella and broc rabe ? Hold the Mozzarella ? Not worth it with 15 other pizza/Italian places in town.I had to add olive oil and balsamic glaze to it because it was craz dry. Wow.round 2 .. Just opened the chicken parm hero now. Dry. Not a lot of sauce or cheese and breaded chicken was chopped up. Good luck defarina. I didnt realize besides an egg shortage there’s a mozzarella shortage too in Westfield. I’m done.

Authentic Delights at Difarina Pizzeria: A Slice of Italian Excellence

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Difarina Pizzeria, and I must say, it was an exceptional culinary experience that transported me straight to the heart of Italy. From the moment I walked through the doors, I knew I was in for a treat.

Difarina Pizzeria is a true gem that captures the essence of Italian cuisine with its delectable pizzas. Every bite was a symphony of flavors that showcased the careful craftsmanship and passion behind each creation. The crust was a perfect balance of crispy and chewy, providing a delightful texture that enhanced every topping. From classic Margherita to inventive combinations like the Prosciutto e Funghi, each pizza was a work of art, prepared with the finest ingredients and a mastery of flavors.

What sets Difarina Pizzeria apart is its commitment to authenticity. The menu features a variety of traditional Italian dishes beyond just pizza, allowing diners to explore the rich flavors of Italy. From antipasti bursting with fresh flavors to homemade pasta dishes that transported me back to the streets of Rome, every dish was executed with finesse and showcased the culinary expertise of the chefs.

The service at Difarina Pizzeria was impeccable. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the cuisine they served. They guided me through the menu, suggesting pairings and providing insights into the ingredients and cooking techniques. Their warm and friendly approach created a welcoming atmosphere that added to the overall dining experience.

The ambiance of the pizzeria was charming and cozy, evoking the rustic charm of an Italian trattoria. The intimate seating arrangements, soft lighting, and tasteful decor contributed to a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. It was the perfect setting to enjoy a delightful meal with friends or a romantic evening with a loved one.

In terms of value, Difarina Pizzeria offered a truly worthwhile experience. The quality and authenticity of the dishes were matched by reasonable prices, making it a place where you can indulge in the best of Italian cuisine without breaking the bank. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that diners left feeling satisfied and content.

In conclusion, Difarina Pizzeria is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic taste of Italy. With its exceptional pizzas, diverse menu of Italian delights, impeccable service, and charming ambiance, this pizzeria sets the bar high for Italian cuisine in every aspect. Whether you're a devoted pizza enthusiast or simply someone who appreciates fine dining, Difarina Pizzeria will exceed your expectations and leave you with an unforgettable culinary experience.

UPDATE 12/21/19 - Their pizza is 5/5 stars, and so is their chicken sandwich. It’s a hidden gem that you’d miss if you’re not looking for it. When you walk in go to the end of the counter and you’ll see 4 or 5 chicken sandwiches. You must try one. It’s - light, perfectly cooked and packed with just enough flavor to make for an amazing lunch!

A suburban slice of NYC

How could anyone rate this pizza below 5 stars? This is easily the best pizza in town. We get take out from here at least 1 time a week. It reminds me of being back in the city and having a pizza place on every corner. The moment you walk in you’re hit with the smell of fresh dough and brick oven pizza cooking. They have both big floppy slices and also more gourmet options available. In my opinion a great slice of pizza has to have three things:

  1. Crust that’s not too thick but not too thin. It doesn’t have to be deep dish, but it shouldn’t by extra crispy. IT should have a nice browning on the outside and it’s flavor should have minimal saltiness. A good crust should act as the base layer for the pizza. Anchoring your taste buds in the familiar.
  2. Sauce should be sweet but not too sweet. A good sauce is one where I can taste the oregano and the sweetness of the tomatoes.
  3. Toppings shouldn’t be average. Pepperoni and Sausage are basic. Good pizzas have a myriad of different options that delight and enthrall the senses. (Pizza purists may definitely argue this one)

Di Farinas checks all 3 points for me. You can get a Cheesesteak pizza. Um hello – it’s a cheese steak on a pizza! What’s not to love about that!

Service is wonderful - They’re quick to get your food boxed/plated and then send you on your way. I don’t think we’ve ever waited more than 5 minutes to get our to-go order.

Heads up – Friday nights tend to attract a lot of high school kids and they all congregate in front of and around Di Farina’s and the place tends to get a little bit busy.

Try These –

• Cheesesteak Pizza • Pizza Chicken Franchez • Grandma’s Margarita Pizza

If you are new to town, or just passing through. You’ll definitely want to grab a slice of Di Farinas and see what I’m...

Bad pizza, unethical business, and an overall horrible experience. I would not get pizza from this place again. They put disgusting soggy mushrooms on our pizza after we specifically insisted on fresh mushrooms over the phone. When we complained, they initially tried to lie and insist that the mushroom are fresh but after we called their bluff and insisted we know they are not. They ultimately admitted the mushrooms were from a can. That explains why the mushrooms were bloated and making the pizza so soggy. This is unacceptable. We asked for a full refund but they fought with us about that and insisted they should only refund the price of the mushrooms. This does not make sense since the watery mushrooms are sitting in piles all over the pizza and the entire pizza was ruined. After we further insisted that they must give a full refund, they ultimately relented and then had the nerve to say "but it's still not right." Insane. I have no time for bad pizza, from badly run businesses who do not have integrity to stand behind their product and even lie to their customers. Don't...
