Dunkin' — Restaurant in Westfield

My one gripe with this location is the way they have set up two televisions on opposite ends of the place with FOX news playing on one and CNN on the other at all times. After years of political discourse in this country I, personally, am over the “right” or “left” debate and find it incredibly divisive. BASICALLY, when you “eat in” you are faced with a decision. You HAVE to pick a side. Either you sit on the CNN end or the FOX end. Should you feel uncomfortable sitting too close to either because you don’t want to put your political ideology on display, don’t you worry because the plain hard chairs are right in between for the wishy-washy American who won’t pick a side. None the less, it is entertainment in a way watching people try to pile up on one end or the other. I will say the CNN side is more often full. Not surprising for MA. Used to be my favorite Dunkin’ until the service declined and they got slower. To try to remedy this I started ordering through the dunkin app to be able to just pick up my order when I get there and I’ve tried ordering hot food and I've also tried just ordering a simple muffin and no matter how much time I wait to actually pick up my order, when I get there only 10% of the time do they have my food ready. Every time I've ordered a muffin in an attempt to save time on my order I’ve had to ask someone behind the counter to get my muffin since I cant wait any longer for someone to notice me waiting. There were also several times that I’d overhear employees tell others that they need to be doing something so that could play into why my simple online orders take so long. This dunkin really used to be much faster and the people were so nice not sure...

So the place was empty. We asked a couple of questions about some items. The woman taking the order would turn her back on us, sigh, and speak so low we couldn't hear the answer. She was utterly rude and not very helpful. She had a flat affect during the entire exchange. It was obvious she resented having to serve us. She didn't take care of our order and had us waiting to the point that the manager had to ask her what we were waiting for. It was only the two of them.
