Joe's Pizza & Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Westport

We had a long drive and still 3 hours to go. We found Joe's pizza on google maps, it was about 3 minutes off the highway (US 15). Stopping here was a much better choice than the usual fast food joint. It's a small shop inside with maybe 3 tables but looked like most people just order for pickup or delivery. The girl we ordered from was super friendly and helpful. The staff looked busy but our food was ready in about 10 minutes. The place looks popular and maybe been here for awhile as the picture on the wall of the owner may suggest, everyone there (the guy in the picture too) seemed to get a kick out of that. They are my go to for pizza in Westport. They truly are super friendly and have the best service here. Case in point: I was walking to the car with a pizza in one hand and a kid in the other in the rain. As I was trying to grab my keys, my hand slipped and I dropped the pizza. I walked in to buy another pizza.. and they just gave it to me free of charge even though it was totally my fault that I dropped the pizza! Worst experience ever. I'm working doing construction down the road call an HR before my lunch at 11 to make sure it will be here for 12 for lunch. They did nothing but give me the run around about where their driver was good didnt show up till 12:45 now it's cold and I can't eat because I had to go back to work. They didn't want to refund my money saying they need to talk with a manager now I'm out of food and money. Absolutely worst experience with a pizza...
