The Blondinit — Restaurant in Westport

I didn't even know I liked Israeli food. The customer service was top notch. I can't say enough about Salmon he was amazing the treatment received was 5 star. I am a bit of a restaurant snob ok I am truly a restaurant snob. I've been in the Hotel and Restaurant industry for over 20 years and this is by far one of the most delicious meals I've ever had and by far the best customer service I have received. I can't say enough about The Blondinit. My sister chose Blondinit for lunch/brunch while I was visiting from Charlotte NC. After today I have to say Blondinit has some of the most delicious food I have ever tasted. Everything was extremely fresh, packed with tons of flavor NOT SALT but FLAVOR fresh herbs, healthy oil, and veggies. Must I say fresh and not frozen goods! We ordered the chicken sandwich with fries which melted in your mouth, the Greek salad and pargiot skewers and saffron rice were packed with so much flavor, the Shakshuka and whole grilled bransino was topped with this amazing sauce filled with fresh herbs that made you wanna slap somebody seriously. I was extremely disappointed today for Mothers Day lunch. We arrived on time for our reservation and they were extremely busy. When we finally got seated, it's was about 20 minutes before a waiter came to take our order for food and drinks. We waited another 20 minutes without any service, so I decided to go inside and get our drinks at the bar, I needed to serve ourselves. After almost an hour, the waiter brought out a bowl of israeli salad, which wasn't even israeli salad, it was just cucumber and tomatoes. This was not israeli salad, come on.No plates or utensils. I had to go inside again to see about getting them. I went outside and we finally got the hummus we ordered with pita, 2 pieces but the rest of the food came out a little a time. After one hour and 45 minutes, we still didn't receive the babaganoush. When I asked about it, we were told they 86 it. The israeli salad didn't have any lemon, onion, not even salt and pepper. We had the opportunity to enjoy a unique and pleasurable experience at Blondinit! We took the liberty to try a plethora of items. If there were more capacity in our bellies then we would have ordered more. The Moroccan Cigars, baby artichokes, whipped feta, halloumi cheese, falafel and Schnitzel sandwich all had different flavors and all equally enjoyable. The Hibiscus Margarita was freshly made and top notch. 👌 The dessert….oh the dessert…you MUST get both the chocolate cake and pistachio cloud of goodness. I’m not even a pistachio person and it knocked my socks off. Super light and tasty. The chocolate cake made me shed a tear of joy. Needless to say, it was a great experience and pure delight.
