Pokeworks — Restaurant in Westport

This was my first time here and I was surprised reading some of the other reviews. I don't know if changes have been made since, but I had a great experience. I came in through the back and my first impression was that everything was SO clean. So clean that I took notice. Floor, walls, bathroom, supply area, kitchen. Sparkling clean and organized. I only saw two employees working when I came in and they both took the time to say hello and thank me for coming. I ordered the new lobster bowl and was very impressed with both the quality and portion. There was more lobster in the bowl than in some lobster rolls I've gotten. Omggg!! This place's poke bowls are soo delicous. I love LOVE sushi.. but I'm not a fan of sashimi, so I've always thought I would not like poke bowls... but I was so wrong! I got a poke bowl with 1/2 white rice and 1/2 brown rice- spicy salmon and tuna and everything else that looked tasty to me. Yum, yum!! So fresh, tasty, and delicious. I really enjoyed. The staff was friendly and attentive. Their lil dining room was very clean. I also got their coconut milk pudding with mango for dessert- yum!! I’ve been to pokeworks a few times and they were great! Until it was not… today I found a long piece of hair in the food. Sure, no big deal. Accidents happen. But what was disappointing was the customer service. I drove back to the store after I found the hair to let them know about it and the owner did not acknowledge or apologize. He just entered the refund. It was near the end when the refund was entered the employee apologized for the incident. But nada from the owner. He was unfazed. Maybe this...
