WAS a big fan of this place. I used to go there before the kitchen caught on fire, but lately I've been noticing a decline.
It first started off when I noticed that it took a little long to be seated, We used to be able to get an ETA no matter how big the line is, but as of late I've stood for 10 minutes before someone could give me one for outside or inside. Then I started noticing that staff was getting lazy with the pouring. I used to order beer and get beer but there are times were I got a head of foam well underneath the line that the glass has to show how much beer should go in.
And then today happened. We placed an order of tenders and had to go up to our waiter an hour later to ask where our order was. This was after the waiter gave us complementary "desserts" (the coffee shop I frequent have similar cellophane wrapped chocolate chip cookies from a local bakery for half the price) so she knew that we haven't received our food within the hour that she took our order and then told us that the kitchen hasn't received our orders, due to a technical issue. Mind you there was another party sat next to us who received their order as well as the table on the other side who both received their order (showing that they were able to accommodate the parties next to us) and had us order again. Curiously the parties on either side of us were white while we were not.
They brought out a partial of our order later and when I realized that they weren't going to bring the rest of the order later I asked to take it off our receipt. The waitress went to talk to a manager and they made no effort to conceal the act of them investigating whether we were lying about the number of tenders that we received. What was worse was that I brought a guest today to try the chicken after telling them how much I liked it, but today was so noticeably bad that they were asking if the service was normally...
Read moreThis is for their Golden location. The wings are good. Very much on the small side, but pretty tasty. Their jalapeño margarita was amazing; absolutely love the smokey flavor with it. I could easily have gone through 3 orders of their Cajun fries on a single breath if given the chance. Those things were delicous.
The down sides unfortunately really out weighed the food though. It's extremely loud in there. Like UFC fight night at a bar on St. Patrick's day loud. I am not a fan of community tables when their is food involved. The servers routinely handed our food to another party that was at our community table, and when that party realized it was not their food, they handed it down to us. Maybe I am weird, but I find that very unsanitary. The menus are on paper, which wouldn't typically be a bad thing if they were replaced often. Unfortunately, the menus at our table could be used as evidence in a crime scene as they had the finger prints of 3 different individuals with the wings they ate and were shoving in their mouths. You don't get to see a receipt of your meal prior to tabbing out. They hand you a device and you pay; unfortunately, after we signed the machine and the server walked away, we realized we were over charged by $20. Again this is probably due to the community table and we got one of their items added to ours.
What I would suggest for this location: Remove the community tables and if larger parties are attending, then combine tables. At least 40% of their indoor seating is community tables. Laminate the menus so they can be wiped down after each party leaves. We are eating with our hands and all. Train your server staff to deliver food to the proper patrons or at least ensure the food is for the right party before handing it off. Give patrons the opportunity to...
Read moreCannot recommend highly enough! Literally every part of the experience was perfect. We wanted to go here a while back but they were closed so we were super happy to see them back open, and most certainly were not disappointed. First, when you come in, the ambiance is very cool and welcoming. They have "king of wings" in lights upside down on the ceilings, which was really noteworthy, but everything about the decor was nice. They even have heated outdoor seats. The service was the best I've literally EVER had in my life. They had about 4 servers, 1 bartender, and a manager and every single one came to the table at least twice to check on us, and they were busy so it's not like we were the only guests. All that would've been nice on its own, but the food is what made this place my new favorite. I had 10 grilled wings with 2 sauces on the side and my girlfriend had 3 tenders with Memphis sauce on the side. The grilled wings were probably the best wings I've ever had. They were juicy and the spices they used made it really pop, but taking it away from a fryer made all the difference. It was amazing. My girlfriends tenders were hand breaded, and insanely juicy. I genuinely can't imagine any place doing better than this. The sauces were tangy gold, Thai bbq and Memphis bbq. The tangy gold was a little spicy, but full of flavor, and the Memphis bbq was nice too, but the Thai bbq was my favorite. It was incredible, way better than anything you can buy in a store. Also, we had ranch dipping sauces, that were made in house because they were also incredible.
I can guarantee you we will be back. This is an absolute diamond...
