No Feng Shui at Sun Shui
Not sure how this place has such a good rating. Maybe a large family?
Let me break it down:
Food - I ordered the Triple Delight (shrimp, beef, and chicken) and there was a grand total of one shrimp in the dish, a little beef, a little more chicken and a TON of veggies for filler. So if you would like a bit of meat with your vegetables, order this. My partner ordered dry chili shrimp - again - a TON of veggies, not so much shrimp. And beware the large slices and chunks of ginger - I love ginger flavor - but eating large, stir-fried pieces of it made me sputter and cough.
Service. - Not sure it could have gone much worse. We ordered an appetizer that we never received. When the entrees came, we told the waiter to cancel the appetizer, which he had clearly forgotten about. Thirsty? Don't think you'll get your water refilled unless you flag someone down. We didn't finish dinner - I had more than half of mine left and my friend had about half of his left so the waiter went to wrap the items up. When he came out with the check and the leftovers, he passed our table and handed the bag to another couple so we figured that must not be ours but then he came to our table with the check. We paid and then asked where our food was - he started to look for it - then realized that he must have given the food to the other couple who were now gone. After over 10 minutes of leaving us hanging, he said that he would have the manager handle it, that the food had just "disappeared."
You would think that a business savvy manager would have the sense to cut her losses and 1. Offer to re-cook the dishes or 2. Comp the dinner or at least a fair portion of it. They offered 15% off our next order and the manager offered the most insincere "apology" ever.
It was very frustrating - we behaved calmly, did not make a scene, were not rude, but we were treated with insincerity, greed and selfishness. I would have given 0 stars if it were an option.

Read moreI honestly have been dreading writing this review. The service we got here was horrible. We waited 5 minutes to be seated on a mostly empty Tuesday night. We were served right away for drinks and our food order was quickly taken. We ordered a lot for just two people because the menu looked so good. We got the pork pan fried dumplings first, which were way too doughy so we only ate 2 and the sauce on the side wasn’t your typical soy sauce which we didn’t like. The rest of the order came shortly after. The noodle dish was nothing like I thought, they are small hard noodles with ALOT of veggies and a little beef. Didn’t like it at all. The chicken and broccoli was sub par and the honey sesame was of course sweet but okay. We ordered veggie fried rice but got the combo, and when I asked the Chinese waitress to correct it because I’m allergic to seafood she yelled at me that my BF was the one ordered it not me and he ordered the combo, but he didn’t. She was very mean about it and finished it with a very stern “we good?” My BF and I are not confrontational so we awkwardly just steered at each other and said nothing. Shortly after a man checked on only our table to see how everything was and we were silent. I’ve never been treated so poorly for asking for the correct item due to a food allergy. The food wasn’t that good but the service was horrible. It’s definitely not...
Read moreMy first and last time at this establishment. I was in town for work and had a last minute dinner with my parents and sibling. We decided to go here since it was in the area we were in and had decent reviews. What a terrible idea. We had an older gentleman take our order and was quite rude. I wasn’t hungry and opted to have a lighter meal. Another family member and I decided to share a dish and he comments, “that’s all you’re ordering? That’s not enough.” Then he proceeds to look at each one of us. It was very awkward and cringeworthy. How is this man going to decide how much I eat for dinner? I try to brush it off. I ask him how large is a particular dish since from how he’s reacting, he’s making it seem like it’s tiny. Then he makes a large hand gesture and I respond with, “that’s fine.” Then he replies, “are you sure?” At this point I should have left, but my elderly parents were hungry, it was cold outside, and we just wanted to spend time with each other. We eventually get our food, which was more than enough. Then when it comes time to pay, I give him my credit card and he starts making these very unsolicited comments about my card: “wow nice card you must have a great credit score to have a card like this!” I definitely do not recommend this place. You can find subpar food elsewhere. There are many other options out there. Don’t let the high...
