Sip Smoothie Parlor — Restaurant in White Marsh

My wife and i stumbled upon this place one day while on the Ave. We enjoy smoothies so we decided to give it a try. First time we tried it, I had gotten a strawberry banana and peanut butter protein smoothie. My wife had a mango smoothie with orange juice as a base, due to food allergy. They do cater for food allergies. The second time we got smoothies I tried a pineapple mango protein and my wife got the same thing except with coconut water. She wasn’t a big fan of it but I thought it was okay. It was more coconut water than anything, I guess that’s expected bc it’s water base. We also got a açaí bowl which was phenomenal. First time for both of us having an açaí bowl. It had granola, strawberries, bananas, coconut and a honey drizzle. The smoothies hit the spot since there’s a heatwave. I walked in with my two year old to grab him a smoothie- maybe she figured that out by the way his eyes lite up or because I ordered the simple strawberry banana.

I’m an uneducated consumer here and didn’t know protein was in the shake- that’s okay because she asked me if I wanted them to hold off adding it. She explained the base is normal orange juice but they can sub out for a long list of option. Service is perfectly fine but the smoothies and juices are kind of awful. I don’t mean the leave this review in a malicious manner but genuinely did not understood how a smoothie could lack so much flavor. The mango smoothie tasted like mostly ice with a smidge of orange. The energizer juice only tasted very strongly of ginger to the point it was burning the throat. For the size, the price was actually great but that did not really matter since the smoothies and juices were no good.
