As a part-time school bus driver I am often asked to drive trips to areas far from home and that was the case yesterday when I stopped in at this restaurant. I had actually already packed myself a lunch for the day but because I was in the mood for some really good Mexican food and I found this place right near the spot I was hanging out while waiting for my group on their field trip to be done to drive them back to South Jersey I decided that I would at least give this a try. I hit arrived shortly after 11:00 in the morning and having never been to one of these restaurants was not sure what to get although I had thought about maybe some quesadillas or a burrito or something as I had been to a similar place years ago and got a burrito that was pretty good although I did not like having to tell them how to make it but usually prefer to just order something and let them make it the way that it is made normally. I thought I would at least give them a try and see how it was but not being sure how things worked I was glad that I was there very early because the young ladies that were working there yesterday were quite helpful although I did not get either of their names so I don't know who to give the praise to but they basically explained things to me allowing me to place the order and watch them throw it together. The only complaint that I even have about the meal was that they made the bowl type meal sound really good which it was however for some reason and I'm not sure what I was led to believe that it was going to be a bowl of a large baked fajita type thing. Unfortunately when I went to eat the meal it was in a cardboard bowl that was unedible which took a lot of my expectations of a good "Mexican" meal away although the quantity of food in the bowl as well as the taste was very good and although a lot more costly than what I care to spend for a lunch meal it wasn't as bad as some other places are. A few months ago I went to one of the fast food Mexican restaurants that I will not name and spend almost that same amount and went away hungry. If I am here again in this area and looking for a meal I might give them a try and get a quesadilla or something and see how they are or if I am somewhere else and find one of these I might try them out but as I said I had already packed a lunch which is something I usually do when I am on long trips like this. I had originally planned on ordering a quesadilla and in the questions they ask about what dishes I would recommend since I only had the bowl thing I don't know whether a quesadilla would be good or anything else would be good but I would like to know someday so maybe I will give them a try or another one of these...
Read moreMy family and I received the best customer service UNTIL we got to the cashier. We were shocked at how rude she was. The dining area looked closed with the chairs flipped onto the tables, but we were getting our 4 burritos made to go. The lady n guy making our food were pleasant and helpful. The cashier … not at all. While waiting for the last 2 burritos being made, my wife was letting the cashier know that there were going to be 4 total. Just so she knew the 2 she already bagged wasn’t everything. When the cashier continued to look to the side and not respond to my wife, my wife repeated it thinking the cashier must not have heard what she said. The cashier kept looking to the left but curled her lips and gave my wife a side glance. My wife asked her if she was ok or maybe just having a bad day, but just got a more stern nasty side glance and curled her lips. The whole time, the cashiers phone that was laying next to the register dinging and going off. I don’t know if she was upset with us for coming in 30 mins before closing or that we interrupted her phone texting, but we didn’t deserve this. The cashier mumbled if we want drinks but my wife would not respond after the treatment she received from the cashier. Truth is yes, we wanted drinks and chips n salsa but at this point we really didn’t even want the burritos. I heard a little of what was going on but when all the burritos were done and I was right at the register, the cashier mumbles the total to me. I asked her to repeat it and got attitude. That will be the last time we step foot in any Qdoba. Very disappointing knowing the lady making the burritos was 2 feet away heard what was going on and didn’t try to help in any way. That was a $48 dollar order, would’ve been more, but with what happened we will never be back. We’ve deleted our rewards account and will...
Read moreI absolutely love Qdoba and love this location. Although tonight, was a completely different experience. I walk in, 2 gentlemen ahead of me in line, I work in food service so I have no problem waiting for my turn. The young man behind the counter taking the orders is yelling at the girl because the gentleman in front of me didn't speak English and he waa telling her to speak spanish. Then I asked for the same thing I always get, by name, and he has to ask me the same question twice because he didn't understand what i was ordering. Okay, maybe he's new and still learning, I absolutely understand this and don't hold anything against him. As I make my way down the line, I see what is I assumed the manager standing by the soda cooler on his phone. He must've been on his phone for at least 3 minutes. Maybe he was talking to his higher manager about a problem, perfectly fine. But I do not believe in doing that in customers view, as some people may take it the wrong way. Everyone seemed angry and annoyed tonight and just wasn't a welcoming environment like...
