06112022 Back to One star. This place is a disaster. The staff has managed to cripple capitalism. The owners have to pay them to do no work. Marx would be impressed. 01152022 6:10 PM called to make sure the store was open and that the Frosty machine was on. Roger the manager answered and said yes. Went into the lobby. Could not do that for quite a few weeks. I saw a great group of young people energetic, articulate, etc. Roger and the entire crew have transformed the store into a functional unit again. I hope those that have the power to do so, will remember this when it comes time for a bonus. They have taken a corpse and gave it life again. The single star I gave it originally, is now five stars. Come in and try the "new" Wendy's!!! 12262021 5:15 PM. Arrive at Wendy's. 5:30 PM got to ordering location. Menu board overhead light, all dark. I called the store to see if they were still open, because they said they were closing at 8 PM. Spoke to a man who said he would turn them on. 5:45 PM finally get my large chocolate Frosty, and tell the checkout person that I was still waiting for my call, from the district manager. A man appears, the one I spoke to 15 minutes ago, and he assures me that he has been here for two weeks, and he's trying to turn the store around. Seriously, if you are reading this and have faith of any denomination, pray for the store. They need it. I took the guy at his word, he seemed honest. Will be back in about two weeks to find out. 12262021 came in here about two weeks ago for a large chocolate Frosty. 9:45 PM the person at drive up says, "our system is down, we will be back up in a half an hour". Come back at 10:15 PM, then I was told, "we're closed". I can't believe the shareholders, management, etc. want this type of service. I asked for a district manager to call me. That did not happen. The person who I asked identified as a manager. That is the problem. Lack of ability at the head of any organization or government, trickles down. Week management produces weak product and servic. At some point a district manager or regional manager must visit this location. It is a disaster. Chick-fil-A is like a finally tuned engine across the street. 11112021 5:30 PM Walk in and ask for a large chocolate Frosty. Attempts to ring it up, a computerized cash register is too much for staff to handle, needs assistance from other staff. Gives me the total. I ask if I can swipe my card to use the chip? Response is, “I don’t know”. My responses,”could you ask somebody”? I know Covid is presenting many problems in the labor force. This is not a business model that is functional. Remedial training of staff as necessary by a district manager if the manager cannot do it. Shareholders are not risking their capital for this sort of model. To the manager, you can overcome this, it’s going to take some time. Just a suggestion, go over to Chick-fil-A across MacArther Road. That’s where I went, I was in and out in less tha one minute. Staff had a much better attitude. Just observe them. Considering how the world is today, customers don’t have time for games like this. Seriously this was like a Saturday night live skit. These kids want 20 bucks an hour. Maybe they need to develop a skill set first. The market pays them, what they’re worth. In this case staff needs to pay the company...
Read moreSave yourself time and aggravation and do not visit this Wendy's! I stopped there for dinner after a night of Halloween shopping. They were not busy at all when I got there. I ordered 2 Baconator meals with no mayonnaise and a son of a Baconator meal. Good thing I checked the bags before leaving. What I got was three single patty cheeseburgers with ketchup and cheese. I took them back in and stood at the counter for 5 minutes before someone acknowledged me. I told them that the burgers were wrong. After checking the burgers to make sure that they were wrong, the cashier took them back to the burger maker and showed him the mistake. The burger maker did not even know how to make the baconators. He came out to the dining area to check the board and then he asked me if they were single or double burgers. I told him that baconators are double burgers with cheese, bacon, ketchup and mayo. Then he proceeded to put lettuce and onion on one of them, caught his own mistake, picked them off and reused the same roll and looked around to see if anyone was watching. So while this 20 minute ordeal went on, my fries were sitting the bags getting cold. Finally the sandwiches came out with only 2 pieces of bacon on each and I had to ask several times if I could get new fries. The nice cashier finally gave me new fries and I just left. At this point I wasn't going to stand another 30 minutes waiting for them to put the proper bacon amounts on a baconator.
Also to make matters worse, the two orders behind me also got single patty cheeseburgers when they ordered baconators. I don't know if this was his first day on the job or what but the customer should not have to tell you how to do your job. Not once did the manager come to oversee what was...
Read moreI've tried this location several times. It's honestly the worst Wendy's I've ever visited and I can't believe the bad reviews go all the way back to 2019. RESTAFF!
I waited 40 minutes in the drive thru with a mobile order. There were 5 people in front of me, and the line never moved. 3 of those people LEFT and didn't even get a chance to order. The one person in front of us sat at the speaker for 8 minutes. 0 cars in front of them. Order never taken. They left.
Finally get to pull up, they let me through because I have a mobile order. The staff is yelling at each other and arguing. They're criticizing the orders and saying they're too much work. It's complete chaos. They're yelling and making rude remarks.
I received food I did not order. My burgers were cold and on the wrong buns. They were missing toppings.
The nuggets I ordered were HARD AS A ROCK and impossible to eat. Like when you leave something in the microwave for too long. Just rubbery rocks.
I asked for ranch with my nuggets. I did not get any. Instead they gave me a giant bag full of ketchup packets. I've NEVER received ketchup packets from a Wendy's before, where did they even come from???
The soda was completely flat and tasted sour.
And this was only my most recent visit... I've had horror stories almost every time I visited this location.
Living in the Valley is miserable. You're in the middle of nowhere. The food is awful. Restaurants are awful. Bread is awful. Pizza is disgusting. There's nowhere to go and nothing to do, it's like being on house arrest. I hate it here.
All I want is a decent Wendy's to make living here at least a little less miserable. Instead we have the most disorganized, disgusting, incompetent Wendy's...
