Norm's Famous Charbroiled Burgers — Restaurant in Whittier

Rude, the girls in there are young and have no personality or customer service skills at all. The food was ok but in my book good food comes with great customer service and they are definitely lacking here. I’ve came here before and had the same type of service but the food was a little better. It was really busy the first time I tried this place so I wrote off the employees rudeness as a result of stress do to how busy it was!!!! Butttt nope it was pretty calm in there today and when I asked for condiments for my food (usually places will put in the sauces that pair with the food and ask if you would like ketchup or anything else, not here)I got the impression that I was bothering her. Even if they only had mediocre food but great customer service I still would of went there every now and then due to its convenience of it being within walking distance from where me and my family live. But I guess it’s back to chicken from el pollo loco for convenience. Really sad that people don’t realize it’s there customers that keep them employed and getting a paycheck. Although they may lose a customer every once in a while or everyday I don’t know so it may not be a big deal to them now but if you start adding up the loss in revenue it starts adding up pretty quick and will...

As a long time customer the food here is usually very good with the burgers (I think) being their tastiest items, and the pastrami maybe #2. On 10/11/20 I ordered chili fries, and I gotta say is the last time I'll ever make that mistake again. The fries obviously were microwaved, because on top of the chili they melted a rather tasteless white cheese on top of a rather tasteless chili, turning the fries soft and a bit mushy in some areas. Even with the chili and cheese added this dish was like eating a plain baked potato with no flavoring, bland bland bland ! Chalking one up for: To Live And Learn ! I think I saved this after seeing a TikTok about it. Stopped by on a random Friday in July while driving through LA. First thing to mention is this place is definitely more than just burgers, the menu was not only huge, but diverse and creative (carne asada fries?! Pastrami burger?! Hot dogs?!). We wanted to see what they do best so we got some single cheeseburgers. They didn’t disappoint. The patty had perfect charbroiled flavor, the lettuce was crisp, bun was toasted.
