Disappointed by how I was treated.

I walked up to this bar just to check it out, and the doorman told me, “You’re not welcome here.” When I asked if there was a private event, he got vague and wouldn’t give me a straight answer. There weren’t a lot of people there, so it didn’t feel like a legit event. I wasn’t drunk, I wasn’t rude, and I didn’t look out of place—just a long-haired guy in a working-class part of town. My son & I went to check out Parlor Bar on a Saturday night and it was excellent! Our server Emily helped us choose the Nashville Hot Chick & The Parlor Burger and both were delicious! She was fast, knowledgeable and provided great service! Our handcrafted cocktails, Parlor Paloma & Founders Reserve made by Lyndsy were yummy & beautiful! Lyndsy was very friendly & chatty and suggested we check out the duo show in The Speakeasy Room and it was like an entire new evening! They had a great duo playing live music at no additional cost! Oh wow what an upgrade from Slam Dunk. We attended their soft opening weekend, so all their selections aren't currently available, but they will have their grand opening in July I believe, but don't quote me on that.

Food was superb. We had the burger and nachos. Delicious. Higher end bar food, but bar food nonetheless.

Our waitress was super helpful and friendly. Could not have about her entire demeanor that night. Drinks a plenty and good times.
