Poached Neighborhood Kitchen — Restaurant in Whittier

So, we decided to try this restaurant for the first time today, first of all the fact that it’s cashless was disappointing. Second of all the food prices are high, and you have to order your food items separately, example if you order 3 pancakes which are almost 20 bucks, you have to order and pay for her the hash brown and eggs individually on the side. The food was decent, I got the Huevos rancheros, my boyfriend got the blueberry pancakes too much cream cheese on the top and he says they were a little bit dry not too much flavor. Third of all, they automatically took the tip out. I ended up spending $42, we didn’t even get coffee or any drinks. I had to share my eggs & my hash brown with my boyfriend because he thought the pancakes came as a meal. I just think the prices are too high and they should change that cashless policy. Well it was our 1st time here. Let's try this place. We'll Very disappointed. 1st of all it's cash less. Not good! They only take cards. I Ordered Pancakes 🥞 it comes with 3. If you want eggs 🥚 and Potatoes 🥔 they are Separately you have to pay for. I paid 20.00 for 3 Pancakes. They were ok. But Not for 20.00. They also add there tip in Automatic league when you pay. So be careful. Don't think ill ever go back. The place was nice and very clean. But two Items for breakfast and just had water 💧 was 45.00 plus they take there tip Automatically! This is not good for the consumer. Go to Green leaf cafe in whittier. Very affordable and the food has good flavor or Zumias Excellent food And affordable for the consumer. Absolutely love Poached and was so excited to try the new Whittier location. I tried the new brunch burrito and it was to die for! The new location is stunning, they really designed the space beautifully. The vibes are so warm and welcoming, and the staff couldn’t be lovelier. Everyone is so caring and attentive, and the service is top-notch.

Every single thing on the menu is delicious, everything tastes so fresh, and you actually feel good after eating here. Between the amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, and great service, Poached is easily one of my favorite brunch spots. Can’t wait to keep coming back!...
