Dickey's Barbecue Pit — Restaurant in Wichita Falls

IT WAS AWFUL!!! We made our order online and we tracked it with your online tracker (which is obviously just for show) when we showed up to the store to get our order the girl told us that the internet was down and that we would have to write down what we got. Which ordinarily we would have just turned around and left but they said the online site will still charge my card as soon as the internet is restored so we were pretty much stuck! Then the girl told us that they were out of the sausage that we wanted so we had to get the jalapeno sausage which I can not eat. Then they came back out and told us that they were also out of the jalapeno sausage so we could get more ribs (even though ribs was not what we ordered or wanted). Then when we finally got our food and got home we discovered that we did nor get our fried okra... so basically we paid for two sides that we didnt get!! We just paid 50 dollars for food that some of which we did not want (but had to get because we were gonna be charged anyway) and then didnt even get something as simple as our side of fried okra. The bbq was not good at all when we finally did get to eat it. Rib Crib is way better!! Never gonna cheat on...

1st time having Dickies, order a 3 meat combo, 1 girl was obviously new and training but the girl training her is the is where my compliant begins. I orderd sausage, brisket and pulled pork chopped. The girl even asked if I wanted Polish sausage or Jalapeno sausage... Maybe now she will remember the conversation that i leave a review but I recieved no sausage and got ribs instead. Instead of saying sorry that's our mistake she insisted on trying to make me feel stupid like she knew I ordered ribs. I don't even like ribs so funny she would insist I was wrong. After all said in done the guy made it right and brought the sausage but the little girl stayed behind the counter talking about me saying I was lying and I felt so disrespected but didn't want to make a scene. After that she comes out to the table and starring my families table down like we did something wrong to her. So disrespectful and horrible customer service from a kid that just couldn't admit she was wrong.

Thank you to the guy that was nice and brought sausage out but that girl is a problem and needs to learn how to treat customers!

Never coming back because of that but the...

It wasn't terrible, but is overpriced for the quality. When you walk in, it looks like an average fast food place. They advertise their bbq sauce like crazy, but the ribs are dry rubbed, you have to ask for a side of sauce. The French fries are really good, probably close to top tier fries. The mac n cheese is extremely cheesy, it is thicker than a bowl of oatmeal, but excellent. The green beans were horrible, they were not strained, but served in gross water that definitely came from a can. They were mixed in with what I could only assume to be bits of fat that also came from a can. Now onto the big ticket, the ribs. They were rather dry, I'm assuming kept warm in a warming rack. They had very little meat on them as well, and the bottom didn't even have meat, just skin. It cost nearly forty dollars for two people, the drinks alone were nearly three dollars each. Ribs and two sides cost seventeen dollars. Overall, I expected better than what I got. Even for a chain restaurant it was not up to par.
