If I could give 0 stars I would. My parents had been looking forward to eating here for some time but we never had the chance to go. I decided to treat them and we drove an hour from Lawton, OK to eat here. Originally, we were very excited and charmed by the cool decor and the menu options. We were greeted and serviced by a fairly nice but majorly inattentive waiter but we decided that wasn’t much to worry about as long as the food was good.
Boy was it terrible. So was the staff. My mother received ice cold onion rings and a very tough hamburger steak that looked like it had been sitting out a while. I received a pasta dish that was so full of sauce I couldn’t tell if I was eating a soup or a pasta. My fathers meal was the real kicker. He ordered a steak and quail. His steak arrived and was great but we informed the waiter that we were missing all of our sides and his quail. 10 minutes later the waiter finally came back with everything and much to our dismay, the quail was raw. My father brought the quail to another server and informed them of the issue. Several servers said, “that’s not my problem” until someone finally took the dish. The waiter came back to our table and offered my father a complimentary dessert which he happily accepted as he was very upset from the quail dilemma. The dessert arrived and as he began eating the waiter informed us that they couldn’t make the dessert free anymore and that the manager wouldn’t allow him to comp us anything.
The issue here is that when informed of raw food, there was no customer service, no manager at our table apologizing or trying to make things better. They couldn’t even provide a $6 dessert to help resolve the issue.
We called the general manager and didn’t receive an apology. All we received is 25% off our next meal (which we will never use because we do not plan to ever return). The food here was absolute trash for the price. You can get better at Texas Roadhouse. The customer service and care was ridiculous. I do not recommend this place to anyone....
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at a McBride's steakhouse, and overall, it was a satisfying experience. The restaurant boasted a reputation for its delicious steaks, and I must say, they certainly lived up to the hype.
Let's start with the star of the show—the steak. The moment my perfectly cooked steak arrived at the table, I knew I was in for a treat. It was juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. The chef clearly knew their craft, and the quality of the meat was undeniable. Each bite was a delight, and I found myself savoring every mouthful. If you're a steak enthusiast, this place will surely impress you.
Moving on to the service, it was truly exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The waitstaff was prompt in taking orders, ensuring our glasses were never empty, and offering recommendations when needed. Their professionalism and genuine enthusiasm for their work made the dining experience even more enjoyable.
However, while the steak and service exceeded my expectations, I must admit that the atmosphere left something to be desired. The decor was pleasant enough, but it lacked that special ambiance that elevates a dining experience. The lighting was a bit too dark for my liking, with an outdated decor choice. It's worth mentioning that the tables were also quite close together, making privacy a bit of a challenge. While it didn't detract from the overall experience, I feel that with a more thoughtfully curated atmosphere, this steakhouse could truly reach its full potential.
In conclusion, if you're searching for a steakhouse with exceptional steaks and outstanding service, this is definitely a place to consider while in the...
Read moreMy family and I went yesterday because we were honoring the anniversary of my husbands mom who has passed away. The two people at the host stand didn't say anything to us when we walked in the door and just stared at us so I told them we had 5 people (two adults and 3 kids). The guy just told us it would be a 30 minute wait to which we replied, that's fine. We sat down in the waiting area and noticed that 3 different parties of 4 were immediately sat before us which we were confused by as we were told there would be a wait. After the third party was sat, my husband confronted the host and asked why several parties were getting sat before us to which the guy host replied that his manager only allows 4 people to a booth. My husband said that since 3 of our party was small children we could easily fit in a booth (not to mention that my baby would have sat in a high chair outside the booth but we were never offered a high chair either.) so technically we would only have had 4 of us sitting in the booth. After some back and forth from the host, he agreed to sit us in a booth and then before we started following him to the table, he walked off so quickly we didn't see where he went to seat us. We finally spotted him and took our seats. During the meal, we felt that our waitress was very short with us and it made us feel uncomfortable the entire meal. I also wanted to mention that we saw the manager hanging around our table and passing by us several times but he did not once stop to apologize or to ask us if there was anything he could do to improve our experience which I think speaks volumes. Honestly, before this we usually have a decent experience here but I guess for some reason, they don't want our business so we will take...
