I honestly give this place zero stars. My friend and i walk in, I have a benie on and he has a hat on backwards. The door man tells me to take my benie off and my friend to wear his hat forward which makes no sense to me because if i owned the place id rather be able to see peoples faces then not. So i ask the door man why i had to take mine off and my friend didn't and the door man responded with " are you here to drink or to cause a problem?" i wasnt rude or yelled i was really just curious. So my friend and I proceed and go to the bar to get a drink. While we order drinks a bouncer comes and tells my friend to fix his hat ( friend moved hat backwards out of habit) so he fixes the problem. I asked the bouncer the same thing i asked the door man about my benie and he said he didnt know he just gets paid to enforce dress code. I said ok and ordered another drink for my friend and I. I turn around to give my friend his drink and he is bejng kicked out because of his hat. They said they gave him 3 warnings which they had not and that i was causing trouble which i was not. We left with no problem and went to XY...the door man from revolution told the xy bar that we could not go in that we were banned...
Read moreRevolution offers a unique set up that ultimately offers more of a lounge vibe- though there is plenty room to dance! There are games and pool tables in the back for those friends who would rather play than sway. The lighting is always inviting and the celebrity artwork on the walls is super cool to look at while guessing who each person is. The only downsides are the tiny bathrooms, wet floor by the bar by midnight, and the occasional bad night of music. Luckily Revolution offers no cover charge so you are free to enjoy the night without feeling obligated to stay. The club is right next door to another dance spot and surrounded by entertainment and food. Check it out the next time you're in Old Town and see...
