Brick & Bustle Bridal Shop — Local services in Wichita

Wasn't thrilled with the experience. First of all their website states the gowns start at $700. I didn't see a single gown for less than $1000. All the ones I tried on were over $2000 which is crazy for off the rack. I spoke with someone in the bridal industry who said this shop has a poor reputation for overpricing their gowns. Said they found the exact same gown at another shop that they were able order new for half the price. The girl who helped me was pretty friendly, although she didn't seem particularly confident or knowledgeable but that wasn't my main issue. The prices were.

Editing in response to owner: I am only expressing my personal experience, which was that I did not see a single gown (that fit me at least) at $700, and compared it to my experiences with other shops (that were also selling off the rack) and what I have heard from others in the industry. I do not understand the owners need to discredit my personal experience. I'm glad that other brides were happy with their experience, but just because THEY were does not mean I have to pretend I liked mine. I have been nothing but honest and will not change my review because other brides were happy...

I don’t exactly remember how I stumbled across Brick and Bustle on Instagram, but that was where I first learned about this cutie little shop in downtown Wichita! I loved that they posted stories regularly so I had a pretty good idea of what styles they had coming through the shop. My stylist was Christina and right away she totally understood my personality and my “vibe” and was able to help me narrow my search down to dresses she knew I would love! She was SO helpful when it came down to making a decision based on what I loved, not based on what my girls that came with me loved (even though their opinions were helpful too)!! This was the first place I went dress shopping and the ONLY place I went. Zero regrets! I found the perfect dress! I didn’t feel rushed, and I really felt like Christina truly cared about finding me the perfect dress, rather than just feeling like another customer on the schedule. I have only had wonderful things to say about Brick and Bustle since my visit and I can’t wait to get my wedding photos back to keep bragging on my gorgeous...

This was the most beautiful little boho boutique in downtown! I absolutely LOVED the atmosphere! I had Megan and Kacey helping me out and they were both fantastic! Kacey was my stylist for the day and she made me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. They had the most GORGEOUS gowns from fitted to ball gowns and everything in between for AMAZING prices! I loved EVERY SINGLE dress I tried on, it was one I'd the hardest decisions of my life but I ultimately chose the most gorgeous gown! It is going to be absolutely perfect and I have Brick and Bustle to thank for that! If you are looking for a GORGEOUS, affordable, Boho gown (they also have elegant and everything else as well) then this is the place to go! LOVED everything about this place and my experience.
