Look at the thickness of those sashimi filets!! They were a little on the cool side. For me, the optimal temperature for sashimi is around 45° F, to get the full richness of the fish, but that's on me because I attacked it as soon as it hit the table.
The edamame was perfectly steamed and lightly salted, and the yakisoba noodles were delicious with the right amount of seasoning and vegetables.
I tried the apple Saki. It wasn't offensive, but I wouldn't order it again because I really liked the taste of cold Saki, but I had never seen apple before, so I gave it a try. It was as advertised, just not my personal favorite, but I'm sure it's a hit with anyone who likes flavored wines.
Overall, a great experience, and the food is fresh, well prepared, and delicious. The restaurant was clean and the staff was welcoming and friendly. Would definitely go back and bring guests...
Read moreI have never wrote a review before but the food and service were excellent and I just needed to rave about it! I came in on a busy Thursday night and I only saw one server handling all the tables, which made led me to believe my service would have been slow. Boy was I wrong! Two, (I'm not sure how to spell her name), greeted us promptly and was so patient and sweet with our questions, despite how busy it was. She kept our drinks filled the whole night and constantly checked up on us with a smile on her face even though she had so many tables. I ordered a Super Tiger and my boyfriend ordered a Double Double. I wish I had taken a picture of the food because it was DELICIOUS! Not only was the food amazing, the presentation was BEAUTIFUL!!! I had a butterfly shaped carrot!!! Kudos to the staff members for making this one of my best restaurant...
Read moreI ordered the Chef Special Sashimi. The pieces of fish were quite small. The presentation was below those of other sushi restaurants. BUT, the worst of all is that the sushi was still partially frozen in some pieces of salmon. Literally but into a piece of salmon that still had ice crystals.
I ordered the Korean fried chicken. This is does not appear to be double fried and battered like regular Korean fried chicken is. It’s just chicken wings they’re marketing as KFC.
We ordered some sushi roll which didn’t taste good. This is my second and last time here.
The prices here have gone up and are higher than they ought to be for sure. After tax and tip, you’re paying almost $20/roll.
The bathroom was also dirty. Literally cobwebs on the lights. Dirty plunger in the corner. Walls were dirty.
The staff was amazing though. Prompt...
