Look at the thickness of those sashimi filets!! They were a little on the cool side. For me, the optimal temperature for sashimi is around 45° F, to get the full richness of the fish, but that's on me because I attacked it as soon as it hit the table.

The edamame was perfectly steamed and lightly salted, and the yakisoba noodles were delicious with the right amount of seasoning and vegetables.

I tried the apple Saki. It wasn't offensive, but I wouldn't order it again because I really liked the taste of cold Saki, but I had never seen apple before, so I gave it a try. It was as advertised, just not my personal favorite, but I'm sure it's a hit with anyone who likes flavored wines.

Overall, a great experience, and the food is fresh, well prepared, and delicious. The restaurant was clean and the staff was welcoming and friendly. Would definitely go back and bring guests...

I have never wrote a review before but the food and service were excellent and I just needed to rave about it! I came in on a busy Thursday night and I only saw one server handling all the tables, which made led me to believe my service would have been slow. Boy was I wrong! Two, (I'm not sure how to spell her name), greeted us promptly and was so patient and sweet with our questions, despite how busy it was. She kept our drinks filled the whole night and constantly checked up on us with a smile on her face even though she had so many tables. I ordered a Super Tiger and my boyfriend ordered a Double Double. I wish I had taken a picture of the food because it was DELICIOUS! Not only was the food amazing, the presentation was BEAUTIFUL!!! I had a butterfly shaped carrot!!! Kudos to the staff members for making this one of my best restaurant...

I ordered the Chef Special Sashimi. The pieces of fish were quite small. The presentation was below those of other sushi restaurants. BUT, the worst of all is that the sushi was still partially frozen in some pieces of salmon. Literally but into a piece of salmon that still had ice crystals.

I ordered the Korean fried chicken. This is does not appear to be double fried and battered like regular Korean fried chicken is. It’s just chicken wings they’re marketing as KFC.

We ordered some sushi roll which didn’t taste good. This is my second and last time here.

The prices here have gone up and are higher than they ought to be for sure. After tax and tip, you’re paying almost $20/roll.

The bathroom was also dirty. Literally cobwebs on the lights. Dirty plunger in the corner. Walls were dirty.

The staff was amazing though. Prompt...

The other day, on a whim, I decided to stop somewhere I've stopped once before. That place is Sushiya. I'll admit, there are far better places to get sushi. I ended up coming to Sushiya because honestly, I was close to Old Town Square, and Sushi sounded like a good idea at the time. I ordered the Crunch roll, spicy tuna, and California combo meal. There really wasn't anything memorable about any of the rolls I ordered. But I enjoyed the crunch roll the most. The spicy tuna I guess was spicy? And the California roll was bland to say the least. Everything was decent., but like I said, nothing memorable.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR! I’m telling you .. if you’ve seen a skeptical review or a negative comment FORGET IT! Try this yourself and be your own judge people! It’s a restaurant, that just opened. If you like sushi this spot is IT! My wife and I consider ourselves sushi connoisseurs! :P They had it all and EVERYTHING was FRESH and delicious! The staff is knowledgeable and knows the menu. Friendly service, GREAT affordable drink menu also, the pink lady app (pictured) was recommended and FABULOUS! We will be going back… often. <3

Got our drinks, and then got our appetizers. But the appetizers were not fully cooked. Then waited over an hour just be told they only had one cook and that our food wasn't ready and want close to coming out. Didn't even offer to discount our half cooked appetizers or apologize for having us wait an hour for nothing. That's enough for me to make the decision to not go back here. Wasabi has a few locations and their food is always great and never encountered the type of service we did here.
