Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Williamsburg

I love their food and the crew used to be pretty friendly, greeting us most of the time, well not today. We were the only ones going in, no other customers were on the line ordering so they just look at us and that was it. We have been eating there numerous times but we never so the sign at the front door offering free queso with the app which my husband had and used many times. When there was a problem trying to apply the queso through their register monitor, the young guy went to the manager and after a while he came back saying that it’s only when you sign for the first time so when I was going to do it, the young guy told me to wait a second and went to talk to the manager again who never showed his face. The answer was confusing but we understood that it meant no free queso for us. I have money to buy my own queso but I just don’t understand why such a low price item was denied to us when we have spent a lot of money there during the years and all I heard, not from the manager, (but not in person) a bunch of excuses. Good food bad...

Moe's is one of my new favorite places I really like their steak salad... has the same idea as Subway where you go down the line putting into your sandwich or salad all the different meats and vegetables etc. I love that they have cilantro... the dressing is good their queso is super creamy and smooth has a great taste.. They have decent sweet tea.. and most of the time they have plenty of real lemon wedges which I love and a big factor as to where I eat often places that have good sweet tea and real lemon wedges instead of just lemon juice in a little packet or even nothing at all... they have a little salsa bar with different types of Salsas all at no extra charge... they have a frequent customer reward program as well... the place is so good I've even learned to be okay with the constant "welcome to Moe's" that they greet most every customer that walks through the door with unless they are too busy😀...

Moe's in general is great. Plenty of choices, free chips, salsa bar and beer (at many locations) make a visit to a Moe's a satisfying one. However, I have been to Moe's A LOT, probably way too much, and this one is exceptional. First, I have never had to repeat myself. I don't speak softly but I definitely am not loud. When they ask me what I want they listen and remember. Even on Moe Mondays the wait is not long and they move the line as quickly as they can without making your individual experience feel rushed. They have never been "out" of anything that wasn't like recalled lettuce. I had to give chicken about 3 minutes, one time, but I told them the rest of my order moved along to the cashier and by the time I was done paying they had assembled and delivered my order. Finally, it is always clean. Oh and definitely use the Moe's app, I'm on my 20th free...
