Chick-fil-A sandwiches have always been a great go to for that chicken sandwich itch. I also do love their salads as they are pretty hefty with the quantity you get in each bowl. The quality of the lettuce is also nice compared to other food chains. The waffle fries are good, but I have experienced at the Willoughby location that they will go very heavy on the salt sometimes where my family and myself just cannot eat them.
My real only complaint is the drive thru service. I would say that in my last 10 visits here, 3 of those times I was missing food. Now, it is my error for not double checking my bag, but in my defense I have been to other food establishments that I have not had issues with any of my orders exceeding at least 30+ trips. This location has dual lanes, and sometimes you can feel pressure of being in lane waiting for food when the car behind you has already been serviced. With the amount of staffing, I feel they need to have someone double check orders.
The staff though is polite and kind, which is nice. I feel the accuracy in which the orders are packed needs to be checked.
Update: I had an issue last night 3/7/25 where my order was missing a sandwich. I noticed this once I got home. I called the store with no answer. I was instructed to leave a voicemail which referenced that I would receive a call back. I never got a returned call. I went back to the store the next day and brought in my receipt showing the clerk how my order was incomplete. They remade the sandwich but referenced to me that they would only do this, this once as they only remake food same day or send me a coupon in mail. Here is my issue, if you aren't picking up the phone and are not returning my phone call as you stated you would, your establishment will not be getting $7 from me for free. I WILL receive my food. I do not want to rely on the USPS to give me a free coupon. If I have to drive back up to your store because of your error, you should be more welcoming and apologetic. Heck, give me a free fry to compensate my gas. Sadly, this left a strong bitter taste on my mouth.
The fast food industry can be very tough on stores depending on location. But you also gain high rep for service quality. Chick-fil-A usually pushes itself as setting a high bar for quality in food and service. Ordered 3 sandwiches , 3 fries , 3 cups of cheese and nuggets . They didn't give us ANY fries or cheese , forgot a sandwich and the ones we got were wrong and less nuggets than ordered . My gf sat at the window and they ignored her so she beeped and the looked at her and laughed and walked away . I went up there the next day because they were closed by the time she got home . They acted like I was in the wrong . Made me wait 20 min to tell me they sent me a small fry through email 😳 to make up for a sandwich that was missing and two that were messed up , 3 missing fries and cheese cups and messed up nuggets smh. I said that's crazy can I talk to the boss/ owner and they said that none of them were there so I was saying how that's BS how they screw over paying customers and then the owner of the store ( a red head lady) comes up and kicks me out for saying they screw over customers as I was . It's not cheap anymore either . A $50 order getting only $20 worth and asking to be reimbursed to be treated like that is crazy imo. She told me I'm banned for life from there and to never come back . I'll say I was getting a little loud cause I was pissed that we got screwed over then sat there all together for a half hour to be told they sent me a coupon for small fry through email and that's all I get . Read moreI went to this location today and spent $42.36 just for some terrible food and awful service. One thing I ordered was the grilled chicken club. I wanted to substitute the multi grain bun with a white bun and no tomatoes. The food was incorrect so I went inside. The boy went to remake the sandwich correctly. This took almost 10 minutes. When he brought it back to me it was incorrect again, it didn’t have the bacon that comes with the sandwich. This girl goes to remake it and she brings it to me and it was incorrect again. There were about 3-4 tomatoes on the sandwich which was marked no tomatoes. At this point i wanted a refund that they said I needed the original receipt and my credit card to do. I didn’t bring anything in the store with me because I didn’t anticipate this to be a hassle. So I just said whatever it can be remade but please make it correctly because it’s almost 1:30 now which means this whole thing has almost taken 30 minutes. As I’m waiting I go back to the car and get my phone and credit card because I really couldn’t wait any longer. When I got back into the store the girl was bringing me the sandwich. I checked it out and it was wrong again. It had Colby jack cheese instead of pepper jack. I told the girl just get me a piece of pepper jack cheese and l would leave. She brought me back a slice of cheese that literally had grill marks on it and looks greasy, not fresh at all. When I got back in my car my fries were cold and super salt, not even edible due to the salt. I have never been more disappointed with chick fil a.
