This was my second time here. First time was so great, I boasted to everyone I know how great it is. However , this time , there were several hairs in my daughter’s salad and one in her sandwich.i requested to talk to a manager to point this out and have a nice conversation about the mishap. The manager tells me it happens which I then reply, in a restaurant of this stature, this is unacceptable and telling me it happens is not an excuse to give a customer. She continues to say well sometimes this happens and insisted it was a white hair and her staff doesn’t have white hair. The hairs were clearly light brown to blonde. I even showed her the color against the white plate it was blonde or light Brown. She then said sometimes the waitress could drop a hair while going to the table. The waitress had black hair. She again tells me it happens sometimes. She would simply not own up to the mishap and made excuses. I told her it should never just happen and is unacceptable no matter the cause. Staff is excellent, the food is for the most part delicious but this manager needs better training. It started with me just wanting to make her aware but her unprofessional behavior has me questioning a return to first watch. After the first visit, I was planning on a once a week visit. She is a short lady of Asian or Spanish decent. If I walk in and she is the manager on duty, I’ll likely walk right back out.its sad because of how great my first experience was, but if we’re going to make excuses for hair in the food instead of a simple I’m sorry, we will do better next time,it maybe better to...
Read moreFor a Sunday morning the wait to get a table was acceptable for a party of 7. It was a "perk" that there was a coffee urn to help yourself to a small cup of coffee while waiting. Everyone in our party enjoyed there selections. My only negative was when I asked if I could have my seasoned potatoes without onion and was told no. Also, 3 in the party asked for their potatoes to be crispy and were told yes, but, they came the same as everyone else's. My traditional order was nothing to brag about. Toast was not buttered very much, over medium eggs were small but cooked properly, bacon was ok. I'm not a fan of onion so potatoes were not much to say about. I left hungry, and only 1 in our party took a small amount home with them. Tables and silverware seemed clean. All orders that contained toast also came with a large condiment cup that was full of a jelly that you had no choice of flavor. It seemed to be there to fill the plate so you thought you had more food on it than was...
Read moreTerrible experience. Ordered to go. Biscuits and gravy. Had. No. Gravy. Missing bacon with the kids meal. I called and the girl literally argues with me that the gravy is in a separate container. No, honey. It's not. She argued with me that it was in the bag. I'm looking right at it. THERE IS NO GRAVY. I told her I want the meal remade and she got an attitude with me and passed off the phone. The next woman wasn't much better. I stead of apologizing and offering me any form of compensation, she said "well what would ypu like us to do?" Um idk. Remake it? Refund me? Literally anything? I've been to many First Watch locations in other states. This one is garbage. Maybe it will get better over time. But if I'm paying $15 for a biscuit and gravy...at least put the gravy on it. I won't be back for the foreseeable future. I'll stick with The Spot. They never...
