Well first, I was treated rudely when I got to the establishment I had mobile ordered to be picked up via the drive thru and was barely acknowledged once there I was told to pull up and again was not acknowledged. I waited approximately 5 minutes when my mobile order which should have already been made because it was ordered in advance for that reason and there were no other customers in sight. Once leaving I brought our food and drinks (my coworker and I) back to work and realized very quickly something was very wrong with my drink. I called the store and asked for it to just be refunded as I was going to throw it out and really didn't want to go back and get another at this time. The employee told me he could not authorize that only a manager could so I asked to speak with a manager he then told me no manager was available so I told him ok I'll just come back up there then and hung up. I went back up to have my drink replaced as I'd ordered an energy cold brew (cold brew coffee + a shot of espresso) and was clearly served an energy punch (cold brew + monster energy drink) the latter of which would make me VERY ill due to a preexisting medical condition. I have ordered this SEVERAL times before and had no problems so I was aware of what I was getting. Once there I stated "This is not what I ordered" and went to hand the employee the drink at this point the lid was not entirely on and it spilled over the counter. For this I did apologize, that was not my intention. I asked for my drink to be remade since I could not be refunded at this time since no manager was in the store. The employee got irate and told me no and asked me to leave the store. I told him he could not take my money and give me nothing so I either wanted a refund or the drink to be remade to which he told me he had the right to refuse service because I "threw a drink at him." I told him again you cannot take someone money and not provide a service and would contact WPD if he refused to simply remake the drink and I'd be on my way. He again refused and told me to leave. I told him I'd be contacting WPD and I did he then decided to call the manager, Angela B., who told him to just remake the drink and take my name and number. Once the drink was remade (and I carefully watched it being remade) I said thank you, called WPD back and told them not to respond and left. Upon getting back to my workplace my coworker had suffered a severe allergic reaction due to this same employee cross contaminating her food (she ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel) she called the store to ask if any food there contained celery (what she allergic to) the employee just told her no without even taking the time to look. I know for a fact the garden veggie cream cheese does and I had ordered that with my plain bagel (on the side in a sealed package because I knew of her allergy.) Our best guess is the employee had used it for another customer and wore the same gloves to make her sandwich which resulted in an allergic reaction which she was treated for. The employee did not make any effort to even research her question we know cross contaminations happens and that's ok it's an accident but he didn't even try. This was the only food item she'd eaten in 6 hours so it clearly came from this exposure. The lack of professionalism and rudeness was profound. The manager is supposed to contact me tomorrow morning we will see what happens next. I will be contacting corporate.
Side note: Before I even went here I had told my coworker of a previous bad experience and was hesitant to go but against my better judgment I did anyway. I dealt with 2 different staff members the first time. The first was abrupt and rude cutting me off when I was trying to order and the second tried to hit on me! So unprofessional. I NEVER take the time to write reviews (but I do read them, in this case I guess I should have!) so that speaks for itself.
Edit as of 2/1/19: The management is a joke. Corporate was nice but can't get a real person at the...
Read moreFirst let me start by saying that Kristen the beautiful older woman who took my order was very friendly and sweet. BUTâŚ. The complete lack of knowledge for the products they sale is getting ridiculous. I order the exact same thing at EVERY Dunkinâ Donuts I visit and it is a Large sugar free iced coffee with hazelnut, 2 hash browns, and a plain bagel toasted with butter. It cost the SAME thing every time which allows me to pay with a 10 dollar bill. Today my order was over 10.00. So I asked for my receipt. After viewing my receipt they charged me the price for a bagel with cream cheese and then charged me an extra 25 cents for butter!! When I asked about it she said they always do a charge for butter. Again I KNOW this is not true cause I just ordered the same thing the previous morning from the same location. So I open my bagel and show her there was no cream cheese and they charged me for butter packets but didnât give me those either. She was very nice about it and called her manager who issued a refund but then when I asked for the butter packets she told me they already put butter on itâŚ.with an attitude like it was my fault they got my order wrongâŚ..No apology for me having to go back through the drive thru to correct the issue. Now let me clarify I could care less about the change I just wanted the butter I was charged for because the bagels are a little dry with out it and I realize people make mistakes but the manager definitely wasnât pleasant at all. A smile goes a long way. đThank you Kristen for still remaining sweet and friendly in spite of your manager....
Read moreTo start off with this Dunkin is drive-through only and thereâs no dining inside and they close at 2pm everyday. Second I went there last Saturday around 9 AM and they informed me that they had no eggs and no creamer so I pulled out of the drive-through and went on my way. Well today I pulled in and they informed me that they were not cooking any food because theyâre short staffed, not sure what that has to do with anything, I think thatâs just pure laziness. The fact that the restaurant itself isnât even open and itâs only drive-through and they canât cook any food is ridiculous. Then on top of that because I had said some thing about it being ridiculous the girl working the window proceeded to cuss me out and scream at me so I just wanted to write this lovely review to inform everybody to not go to the Dunkinâ Donuts on military cut off in Wilmington North Carolina because either they never have half the food or theyâre not cooking the food or youâre going to get screamed at because all you wanted was food so Iâm boycotting this Dunkinâ Donuts because itâs ridiculous the way that they are acting and the way theyâre treating the customers. They need to get management and get this under control because at this rate this Dunkin will be out of...
