DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGY! I have celiac disease which means I can NOT have anything gluten! Their menu says to notify if you have a food allergy and I did before taking my order. I ordered a plain dish with lettuce, tomato, cheese, ground beef and a side of queso. I asked the worker if the queso was gluten free and told her I have celiac and she said yes it is but the chips are NOT. So I told her I would just take the queso and no chips. My food arrives and a bag of chips, with grease all over the bag is placed on TOP of my food! I informed the ONLY server that was nice to me that I wouldn’t eat it and I had Celiac disease. She took it back without a problem and apologized, which was extremely kind. Get down to my second bowl that arrives. I take my queso and pour it all over it and then both my 2 things of sour cream that was AN EXTRA CHARGE over my meal and began eatting it. My third bite I took, I noticed that they put a layer of RICE under all my food. I was so over it at this point and my sister asked the server (a very rude one) if the rice was gluten free and she said no. My sister began to explain to her I COULDNT EAT IT and that I needed a new one. This server got so rude and turned around and threw my place into what I think was the trash. I looked over and the very rude one and the women who TOOK MY ORDER and knew of my disease where looking over and talking about me. My third plate arrives and i check it and all was good. However I needed a new sour cream and queso that I used on my original one that I couldn’t eat so I had to get new ones. They were absolutely so rude about it and it’s like I PAID for it so why is it necessary to be nasty. I literally started crying because I CANNOT help it, It destroys my body. I have never felt such disappointment and hateful actions in my life! During my whole time I only met ONE kind server who APOLOGIZED for their actions. Don’t advertise to let you know if you have food allergies, if you couldn’t care less. 10/10 DON’T...

I was new to the restaurant so I asked a few questions about the process. I was directed to a almost unreadable chalk board (the place was dark inside) and when I asked for clarification I was treated poorly. I asked about sizes and she said small medium and large (some places have only 1 size for things). So I asked for a large and she snapped that the item wasn't available in that size. Why tell me the size was available then?
Every time I added something to the order that required a cup or container she literally slammed it down on the counter. I was told the salsa bar was free but she charged me for the containers that I didn't see at the salsa bar itself.
She eventually told me to move along before I was done and then said I was being “aggressive” when I asked how I had offended her. She indicated quite forcefully that she was done with me, even though I wanted more food and was genuinely concerned about why she was in such an agitated state.
The queso was the thing that had the best flavor. My room mate liked his burrito, but didn't love it, though its giant size made him happy. My burrito (pre-made standard item) was bland (I built the room mates burrito and he said it had some flavor).
Two burritos, small salsas, fairly small queso portion and a boatload of chips (way more than asked for) for almost $50.00.
I will never go back. Why pay about $50.00 for food that was fair but a little bland and a heap of abuse by the girl at the counter? I hope whatever demons she is dealing with that caused her attitude gets addressed. I understand the stress of Friday night fast food (been there done that) but this was...
Read moreFood is meh (pretty bland) and the chips are stale, but perhaps I am being a bit biased because I was basically grossed out by the dirty atmosphere that I was scared to even guess what in the heck the kitchen looked like (cleanliness). The entire place is just nasty dirty....sticky disgusting tables, trash cans overfilled and spilling over with trash, bathroom is filthy and smells like straight up sewage, nobody making the food wore gloves (🤮), etc. I never once, in the 45 minutes or so we were there, saw one person ever wipe down or clean any tables or clean anything. The dust flying around in the air was like a dust snowstorm. And no, they weren't busy nor appeared to be short staffed. It's just overall a petri dish of God knows what...especially during the pandemic when many other places are still taking some type of precautions to ensure at least a somewhat more sanitary atmosphere. Like I initially said, food was alright (but Chipotle or Moe's are way better tasting and both are located nearby this particular Flaming Amy's), but the thought of how nasty the kitchen could be (if it matched the restaurants cleanliness) turned me off immediately. With every bite, I was expecting to experience a crunch...a crunch of cockroach, that is. Luckily, that didn't happen but it surely wasn't out of the realm of possibility after seeing this place. So, it's a NO for me, dawg. I don't recommend. Oh and yeah, the employees aren't friendly at all. Rude service, unless you enjoy someone rushing you when ordering and literally rolling their eyes if you have a question about the menu. Also, coming to our table and throwing our food down in front of us then walking away was uncool. This was my first, and surely the LAST TIME that I'll ever eat there. Never will I go back there again unless I develop dementia...
