Laws & Libations — Restaurant in Wilmington

Convenient location on the north side of downtown near the Cotton Exchange. Great selection of craft beer that can all be purchased as singles or packs as well as rotation taps to enjoy a drink on a warm summer day or a cool evening. Most beer seems to be rotating enough on/off the racks to stay fresh, a welcome feature.

Only 4 stars because the store opened 6 minutes late as well as the customer service...

I came from out of town and bought 20 unique single cans during my visit here. Spent 15ish minutes picking them all out while looking at Untappd to see what was new to me. Though the employee on the clock was busy opening for the day, and I've been there in retail and totally get it, he never engaged with me about what I was purchasing, what I was looking for, literally anything about beer with someone like me buying what I was buying could have sparked a conversation. I went to 3 other beer shops in town on the same day and everyone chatted about something I was buying, where I was from, what kind of beer I was excited about trying.

The last time I was here 2 years ago, I got the same cold service from this store, even though it was under another name at that time. Unfortunately, I'll be shopping at the other places in town from now on, even though this beer shop has really good potential and I would normally be willing to drive into downtown...

my friends and i used to be regulars at this bar, but the last time we were there, an old woman at the bar was extremely rude to us for absolutely no reason and the female owner took her side and basically told us to leave instead of her. we had been at the bar for several hours before this old lady and had spent hundreds of dollars. don’t waste your time and money here. there are a lot of other bars in wilmington where the owners actually respect the people who pay...

There's no food here. Not sure why that came up as an option. This place is an awesome bar and bottle shop to hang out at. I love it every night of the week, but especially on Wednesday night when they have open mic comedy there. There are some great local comedians in town and it's fun to watch them work out material.
