My experience at Wilson's Wendy on 12/5/2015 was probably one of the worst fast food experiences I've had in a very long time. The cashier was not in place and we waited at least five minutes for our order to be taken. She was standing around talking and looked right at us a few times and never even acknowledged our presence. Once she took our order she commenced to talking. Another customer walked back up to register disgruntled about the service as well. Cashier pulled her burger from under the register area and commenced to placing it in her bag. She demanded a fresh burger at that time. The second part of my party still had not been attended to and I asked if someone would please come take her order since our food was already being placed on the tray and I didn't want to begin eating without everyone sitting. I ordered a kid's meal with apples, which were brown. Cashier failed to give us any of our drinks until I had to ask her to do so. The wrap I received was cold along with my daughter's burger. Went to lobby area to grab some napkins and there was none. Had to ask someone behind counter to bring us some out. I do not know if there was even a manager working because noone seemed to care whether or not the customers were being attended to. Both my daughter and I felt sick to the stomach before we could even get home. I do not plan to ever eat at this...
Read moreI'm somewhat disappointed in this restaurant chain as a whole. This is my second unpleasant experience at a Wendy's. I placed an order at the drive-thru window. The total cost was $5.34. I handed the cashier a $10 bill plus 35 cents. My wife could see her counting change and said that she has the wrong change. Then, I see another associate hand her some pennies in a wrapper. So I said to her to keep the penny because I knew she owe me $5.01 in change. Finally, after finishing counting change, she hands me a dollar and some change which did not make sense because I only expected the $5.00 back. Confused, I told her that I had given her $10 and I gave the dollar back to her. Now she looks confused but she hands me the $5.00 and I gave her back the remaining change which I did not understand. Then, I realizing that she was probably new and had missed calculated the change she owed, I attempted to explain it to her and her two associates who had heard the conversation. Then the manager who was very rude and disrespectful walked over not knowing the issue. She asks what was going on. Then asked if they owe us any money because she was on a time limit and walked away. Now I don't know how Wendy's manager are treated but I know this is the second time I've experienced rudeness and disrespect at this chain. Their mangers need training in...
Read moreThe Asiago chicken sandwich I got was extremely tough and hard on one side. It literally hurt the roof of my mouth when I initially tried to bite into it. It was as if the chicken had been overcooked and then just sat, waiting for someone unlucky enough to come through the drive through and order it. I had to ask the employee for my receipt, because of course she wasn't going to give it to me. I would have not been able to expense my meal otherwise. I don't understand why someone needs to ask for their receipt for something they've paid for. It's not a complicated job. Also the chicken nuggets tasted terrible. I've never had them from anywhere else and experienced this. I'm so tired of Wilson, NC. I haven't had one single decent meal anywhere in this city in the 3 days I've been here on business. Wendy's is usually a safe bet, but not this time. There were 3 fire trucks at the Burger King the night before, so I decided not to go back there. Wendy's let me down, after working 12 hours today, and driving nearly 4 miles for a rock hard chicken sandwich. I was too tired to drive back; I have to work in the morning, so it was just a wasted trip and a terrible...
