This was a very frustrating experience for me. I went in with high hopes - and I left never wanting to go back. There wasn't any aspect of this experience that made me feel good about the business.
I had a Groupon. I realize there are people that are going to pass judgment because I was only paying "1/2" price, but the Groupon is out there to bring business into the organization - and a good experience will usually result in subsequent full priced visits.
Upon arrival, the man behind the counter (after reading the reviews, I assume he was the owner) was very impersonal. He did not greet me - or say anything for that matter. I moved past my first impression, and I continued with my order. After placing the order, he said $17.98. I explained that we had a Groupon, and he went into some explanation of the charges, and I thought maybe I had misunderstood and because the Groupon cost $17.50 and had a $35 value, he really only meant .48 cents. I gave him my card, and after I received my receipt, I realized that he had charged me $17.98. I asked him about this - and he said there were two Groupons, opened the till and gave me $15. I knew that he was still $2.98 short on what he owed back to me, but I didn't feel like the hassle - so I let it go.
We decided to eat in - and because there was a birthday party that was occupying the entire restaurant (it really isn't big at all), we went and waited outside. It took nearly an hour for our pizza to be done. In fact, I think that they forgot to make our order. There was a small party that came in after us, who received their food 25 minutes before us. It was then that a young female employee asked what we'd ordered. She assured us she would check. Our pizza came out 25 minutes later WITHOUT our breadsticks. We were several minutes into pizza before we received our breadsticks - and they were not thoroughly cooked. The pizza was decent, but did NOT make up for the poor experience.
Perhaps, the most frustrating part about this experience was the lack of apology. I feel like every part of this experience was awful - and I never went to go back. This is one of those nightmare stories that I will share many times. Not to mention, having to sit outside made the experience 10x worse given the excessive wind, along with the flies and bees that would not leave our food alone.
Had there been some customer service - I think the experience could have been improved at least 50%. For now, I give...
Read morePlaced our first order tonight (9/25/23), after the first order on 9/5 had to be cancelled due to problems with their ovens. We ordered a Pepperoni pizza with pineapple and garlic. Absolutely ZERO garlic on the pizza. The rest of the pizza was delicious! The sauce is amazing. Plenty of toppings, etc. I just wish I could have tasted the garlic. Maybe it was just forgotten. Hey, things happen. Also ordered 12 garlic knots. Guess what??? ZERO GARLIC! There definitely was parmesan cheese, but not garlic at all. We really looked forward to the Perfect Pizza Company product, but I'm slightly disappointed with the lack of garlic. Three of us in the household tried everything an nobody tasted garlic. Tried to find a way to contact them and leave feedback directly to the company instead of posting online like this, but they don't provide a way to contact them directly through email. Would have called, but they are now closed (8pm). It's just a Monday night, so I don't expect them to stay open forever, but I really wanted to deal with this directly with them instead of leaving this feedback on the internet. Okay, so I just read a lot of the negative reviews and the owner completely slams the reviews. I don't get it. I would love to give this place high remarks, but I expected to taste at least some garlic on the "garlic knots", as well as the pizza we paid extra to have garlic on. I'm more than willing to retract this if this was just an off night. Things happen. People are only human, but I'm expecting to get slammed by the owner for my post as well. It seems like anyone who has a negative comment is in the wrong. Things happen. Nobody is perfect. The crust and sauce were delicious! I was really just looking forward to the heavy flavor of garlic on the garlic knots. Maybe this is how they're supposed to taste, and I'm just out of line. If so, I'll delete this entire post. Just...
Read moreThe pizza is pretty tasty; however, after ordering online and driving to the location to pick it up, the restaurant had been closed early, all the lights are off and the open sign still lit up. Granted, I ordered food about 20ish minutes before closing but it was for one pizza and garlic knots and nowhere did it show that they have a cut off for orders. My daughter and I were on our way home from a school football game and it was one of the last places to get food one our drive through parrot mountain to mcminnville. When I called the next day for a refund, I was offered no explanation and no apologies for charging me for an order I didn't recieve because they chose to close early for the night. I was very curtly told that he refunded my money that morning and hung up. The charge is still pending with no refund showing yet. What if that had been the only money I had left until payday and I didn't have another way to feed my child that night? Many people live paycheck to paycheck but will splurge on takeout on occasion and this very well could have screwed over a less fortunate person or family. The manager should look into a way of not accepting orders if they've closed or it's too close to closing time. He should definitely consider developing better customer service skills. I understand the world is short staffed but that's no excuse for pisspoor customer relations especially if I wasn't being rude about...
